laptops with internal sensors for displaying cpu temperatures, etc

Featured Replies

i was wondering if anyone has experimented or used any laptops that are no newer than ich6 based for the chipsets. most, if not all the laptops i used for windows 95 or 98SE builds from like ich2 - ich6 were not able to show the cpu temperatures or other temperatures, except for the hard drive when using either speedfan 4.28 ( works on both windows 95 and 98SE ) or hwmonitor 1.17, works on 98SE. i've used mostly dell inspiron and latitude models and some other random models from different brands. i was thinking there may be some asus models or alienware laptops that may have the internal sensors to show the cpu temperature, the laptops don't need to be fully supported or directly supported in terms of originally having the operating system on them from the start. any thoughts or suggestions?
