TheDayStalker Posted August 3, 2002 Posted August 3, 2002 Yeah, I hear the actual CPU 'case' for want of a better word is no longer made from a ceramic material, and is now made of some material to offer better radiation of heat.

Porn Loader Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 my 1.33 tbird idles about 40c, and gets up around 46c when gaming with a 30c case temp.im running an alpha pal8045 w/ a ystech 36cfm fan. can barely here the cpu fan... but i do have 4x80 (40cfm) case fans... those i do hear unfortunately
FthrJACK Posted October 21, 2002 Posted October 21, 2002 i have 4 80mm fans, 1 90mm and 2 60mm fans for chipset and gpu. the CPU is cooled by a zalman 5500, which is very very quiet, main cause of pc noise,my pc is very quiet, the case plays a big part in sound because of reverberation etc, nice thick steel walls help the PSU is fanless - one of the big causes of noise.
