odysseyofnoises Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I managed to uninstall Aero Glass 8 but now when I start my computer the task bar just flashes in and out and everything else is black and it won't let me do anything. What the bloody heck am I supposed to do with that?
My1 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) get a list of your needed programs and try a refresh, i dunno how it was in 80, but according to the guide you had to do some reg changes, try to undo them, maybe with that you dont need the refresh... Edited November 1, 2014 by My1
bigmuscle Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 Then the problem is not caused by Aero Glass.
My1 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) I aint sure yet. maybe some 404-like error (I cant find the DLL) does sth, here... that's why I update first and mod later, btw Edited November 1, 2014 by My1
odysseyofnoises Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Yeah looks like I'm going to have to restore my pc. I guess I should be grateful, though, since I have nothing to do anyway, and nobody to see. But now I have something to do that will cause me to forget my sorry state of affairs. 1

But now I have something to do that will cause me to forget my sorry state of affairs.A reinstallation, not counting updates requires only about 20 minutes of your time. After you do that you can read all about aeroglass so you don't screw it up again.
odysseyofnoises Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Yeah, but updates and then updating to Windows 8.1 takes quite a while, and then arranging all the program icons on my desktop and stuff takes more time. I am glad though because I have something to do that will help me forget about girls for once.
Dreamweaver01 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 BigMuscle:I just used your DLL tool to bypass UXTheme signature verification and it's notworking in Win10 build 9860 with AeroGlass (Win10 9600_9860pre-1414186123) and a third party theme.

NoelC Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Aero Glass 1.2.6 Beta testing Feedback: No visible problems in intermittent usage as a test, including some borderless windows (e.g., Visual Studio 2013). Works well with a replacement theme atlas. Debug.log from a few weeks light usage here: http://Noel.ProDigitalSoftware.com/ForumPosts/Win10/Debug.log -Noel
