Just reporting back. I was able to save my settings from the "Ready?" screen into an ini, but when I start the program using the /cfg command, program starts, loads all the info correctly on the first setup page, but sits there. Never auto starts the setup with my settings from the "Ready?" screen.

Yes, the ini can be used to load/save GUI options, it does not push the setup button.

No, you will need to use the 2 command line options -cfg and -setup.

I did try that, but didn't work, as in the first part of the setup loaded all the settings, but didn't start the process with both switches. Let me double check myself.

This how I run it, but setup will not start automatically.

The new ini stuff looks very nice, I'm looking forward to testing it...

In the meantime, I'm installing XP on a Compaq Presario CQ56, I've had a special request to install XP on it, and give it back with an easy way to reinstall it, when needed. Of course, for this purpose I'm using a WinPESE usb, with WinNTSetup. I'm making everything unattended and automatic, so I'm pre-mounting an .iso file with the needed drivers (found them in an older DriverPackSolution pack). I am using the "-L drivers:" command line, which points to the mounted iso.

Everything installs just fine (as it always has, I've used this sort of setups hundreds of time), LAN/ WLAN/ Sound, etc. is fine, but the videodrivers seem to be unsigned, and don't install automaticcally. After setup, I get a yellow question mark, "the driver couldn't start", I have to remove it, reboot, then install the driver manually, click OK on "Are you sure you want to install this unsigned driver", and everything's OK after that.

Now, I'm sure I'm overlooking something here, but is there anything I'm missing here, to make the driver work automatically with this sort of setup? Thanks!!!

Thanks for your reply, but I have those lines in winnt.sif already, it must be something else. It must have something to do with the fact that this might not be an official driver, I can't find any official download (just the DriverPackSolution version). As I said, manual install does work, after I click "continue anyway" at the "Windows logo warning" prompt. It's a a driver for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200.
