* set XP Mode msiexec.exe with fcwin.

* restart Windows Installer service

* set XP mode VMWare installer

* install VMWare

* delete compatible mode msiexe.exe

* replace hcmon.sys v 7.0.1.11056

* If you don't use Extended Core, replace VMWare NDIS Bridge Driver also.

But, It seems to work without problem

1. Installed clean Win2k SP4.
   
2. Installed IE6 SP1.
   
3. Installed Update Rollup 1 (v2).
   
4. Installed Roots Certificates update (KB931125).
   
5. Installed KB2722913 for IE6.
   
6. Installed KB957579.
   
7. Installed Kernel v22k2.
   
8. Installed MSI 3.1 (Silverlight's installer requires it).
   
9. Installed Silverlight 5.1.10411.0 (the newest version).

I'm guessing that a lot of files in version 5.0.2195.7193 broke Silverlight support and it's not just kernel32.dll or ntdll.dll.

Really? How did you know that Microsoft Silverlight works when the system locale is set to only Japanese? Do you know which of the DLLs that were used to make Silverlight work when it is only in the Japanese language?

Thank you for releasing a update to your KernelEx project! I found that GetThreadPrefferedUILanguages is only present on Windows Vista and later. Windows XP is not even supported with this function.

@int0x13 There are no unofficial updates for a French version of Win2k so you can either use KDW to change file dependencies or forcibly install the English version of the unofficial kernel / UURollup. Some parts of your system will change into English so take this into account
