Setup Xp SP3

I have copied $WIN_NT$.~BT, $WIN_NT$.~LS, $LDR$, boot.ini, NTDETECT.COM, ntldr and txtsetup.sif to an active partition. After reboot setup don't start . Why?

You "copied" boot.ini ? from where ? Did you edit it? +It would be helpful to tell what comes on your screen.

Um, maybe this will help to "un-confuse" you -

More to it than meets the eye... Just "copying" that item won't allow "booting".
