EDIT: I did not see a way to create a new account. Possible? To specify an Administrator PW, it required me to check "Skip user creation". Is this really necessary? I saw no way to specify network adapter options (example, turn off NetBIOS). Possible? Is there a place/document that might answer some/all of these questions?

I tried it on my OS and trimmed my OS size down to 889 MB using Advanced Option (ofcourse I uncheck some components) and guess what my trimming and installation was picture perfect. Thanks to ben.

Notice the shaded area, and several preset options available. Ben created the 742mb .iso with the advanced preset.

Tomorrow, thanks for your reply. I currently have a AutoUnattend.xml that creates a user account and assigns a PW for the Administrator account. I was assuming that a program like RT7Lite would allow me to do this in the Unattended section as nLite does (and I am used to). I will look closer at the NetBIOS options in Services. In general I do not use blank PWs. I have a running .xml and just looking into RT7Lite for it's automated features, mainly removing packages and tweaks. So far, I am thinking I might as well stick to my .xml, but I have a lot of testing/playing to do. Thanks again, John.

In my post#649, I asked about boot critical and unsigned drivers. Getting no answer, I mounted my images (using dism) and found that the boot.wim image (index 2) had no added drivers. All the added drivers did show up in the install.wim image (index 4). The driver in question is the 3Ware RAID driver and is required in the boot.wim for SetUp to find my HDD. I would not be able to install this image on HW unattended. It is also unsigned and I got no error message. I suspect this means all drivers are being added with the ForceUnsigned switch. I do not think this is a good idea. I hope someone will explain this to me. Enjoy, John.

I'm not getting an error message, but annoying (WAIK installation) message popping up all the time - why is this?

I have all the requirements:

.NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 [installed]

One thing that is really annoying me and probably prevent me from using this ISO is that the SATA controller that the floppy is not working. I do not seem to have also uninstall those drivers.
