Bilar Crais Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 In my lastsession.inf, I removed internet explorer, but it's still checked on both the left and right side. I can't tell if it'll be removed or not unless I compile it and test in virtualbox.Un-check it on the left side, then uncheck it on the right. Now you can remove it on the left side as well. Your welcome.
boogerlad Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) Genious! Lol, 2 hours of sleep clearly isn't enough for me. Give bensam some time to update his thread dude. Edited September 21, 2010 by boogerlad
Bilar Crais Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 The lastsession.ini needs to supersede what RT7 Lite would ordinarily select by default in the right hand column, but that's not what is happening.
boogerlad Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I hope bensam fixes this before he releases 1.5.0
Octopuss Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I hope bensam fixes this before he releases 1.5.0Did you actually read my post? About 10cm above yours. 1.5.0 is out already. I guess the stable version will be 1.6.0 at the earliest.
bensam56 Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Actually I fixed those bugs in this new build itself.....

jadtunrau Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Just tried out the new 1.5 build. Fantastic work Ben! One thing I noticed (even in previous builds), is that in the Integrations tab when you add applications for the PI Wizard, it saves it to the settings ini, but when loading the ini later, all applications are NOT shown. It's weird because when opening the ini file, it's definitely there. Also, do you think you could add a tab for customizing the Start Menu (see image below)? That would be sweet!
boogerlad Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 WOot! 1.5.0 is out! Would a x64 ultimate 7 lastsession.inf work on x86 ultimate 7? Would the # of components available for removal be the same for both x86 and x64?

Am I still too aggressive with my removals? Does it have to do with windows media player components? Installing the realtek drivers still give me an exclamation mark in the device manager. Hmm, maybe it has to do with the extra audio drivers (Microsoft Audio Home Theatre Effects=True)(WDM Audio Drivers=True) I removed... idk. Edited September 23, 2010 by boogerlad
bensam56 Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 if you remove the following audio drivers then its sure it won't workMicrosoft Audio Home Theatre EffectsWDM Audio DriversDefault High definition audio driverMicrosoft Media Manager
