PE Network in WinPE 3

Recommended Posts

Posted

PENetwork is a tool used with WinPE (or LiveXP) that will automatically configure your Network Card(s) based upon a created Script ("driver") for PE-bootable CD's, thus installing/starting Services necessary for Networking (TCP/IP, Shares, etc.).

Don't know about using it in PE 3.0, though (it should work). Be aware that you should have the drivers installed before running it (and associated "services"/"services software"), otherwise your card(s) will not be "found" and/or there will be no Network support.

This "tool" is generally used with LiveXP (a Bootland project built using Windows XP CD), a variation of WinPE.

As source is used AIK for Windows 7 and additional files and registry entries from Installed Windows 7 OS.
