doveman Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 When I try and run chkdsk on my new SSD, when it reboots to do it, it says it can't due to a recent install of something and that I should uninstall it but I have no idea what it's talking about!Have you got any ideas how to fix this? I use Avast but I'll try uninstalling it, see if chkdsk then works and then reinstall it.I don't actually need to chkdsk the SSD at the moment as I managed to do so by booting into Windows installed on my HDD but it would be nice to fix the problem so this isn't necessary in future.
