7Customizer - a Windows 7 Customization and Deployment tool

Recommended Posts

If there is interest in this tool and some intersets in helping me in developing this tool, I will continue developing. If not i will just continue until I get bored :rolleyes:

Later if it gets some attention, I will release the source code

Regards

Sure there is interest in such a tool. :thumbup

A good start before releasing the source code would be to release the actual app, instead of a couple of screenshots... :whistle:

With all due respect :), I doubt that even the few features implemented are actually tested extensively :rolleyes: , until you release it and let people play a bit with it.

jaclaz

Sure am interested. How about usb setup option?

Thanks

@marcusj0015

but can you release the source code?

I will not release the source code until there is someone ready to take the development of 7Customizer. Which I think, I will have the chance nowadays to continue.

Hmmm,

Hi all, firstly thanks to Blue for starting this, looks really cool.

Secondly, I'm becoming annoyed with it big time as I can't get it to work, and I can't figure out why.

Everything is fine until I try to add my source folder.

7C is running from c:\7customizer\

Windows 7 64bit Ultimate Source Files are are - G:\win7\

But I keep getting this....

7c.jpg

And the log file.....

@grabben

So you would be able to continue:) ?

Probably yes.

You aren't doing any stupid. It is just a bug in 7C.

I think that you are using a modified windows installation source. Try to use an untouched installation source.
