As well as in Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit UAC will not be disabled when OS is installed.

UAC is working fine. It has been tested already.

a little bug I have found in the ISO creation.

A user told me that no ISO file was created, although gave no error 7customizer,

in the log you could read the following:

Creating ISO file: H:\Downloads\TEMP\Genticus Win7 x64.iso

Finished creating ISO file

Done. Exiting 7Customizer

Nevertheless, the ISO file was not present at the location.

The error was due to the spaces in the name of the ISo file. Without these spaces, the ISO has been properly produced.

Can you still fix it in a future version?

I will test this and report back.

The problem you had was due to using a modified installation source. This will be fixed in the coming releases.

hi every one

i managed to integrate some themes to my windows 7 installation (downloaded from http://windows.micro...ize?T1=themes). her is the way it have been done

1- extract themepack file using 7z

will have a theme file and DesktopBackground folder and maybe some wav and png files

2- rename DesktopBackground folder to some thing close to the theme file

example: Bing's Best theme the file Bing's Be.theme folder renamed to Bing

3- edit theme file with Notepad then find all "DesktopBackground" and replace with "%systemroot%\Resources\Themes\bing"

and then find and delete the line that starts with ImagesRootPIDL under [slideshow] (it will be very longe it may take 2 to 3 lines)

4- save and copy both file and folder to %systemroot%\Resources\Themes or to mountdir\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

i hope it is not an old method, but i just know it and i wanted to share it and maybe it will help blue creating theme integrating support for 7C.

What I made is simmiliar to your method. However, I put the themes in the default user profile. So everytime you create a user, he will have all the themes.

As a response to my own problem.

I was using a Windows 7 Enterprise DVD, apparently there is a difference between that one and our technet Windows 7 Ultimate DVD as the latter actually worked.

If i can assist blue4603 in figuring out why Enterprise DOESN'T work and Ultimate DOES, please let me know

For now i would say that 7Customizer (and all other tools like 7Liite, WinIntegrator, Se7en_UA that i tested) is not working with the Enterprise DVD.

Thanks for conforming. I will need a Windows 7 enterprise installation source to implement support for enterprise edition

but I do not have it.

Edit2: Hm .themepack ? how to integrate that? I only have .theme but when navigating to the theme/visual style folder, nothing's there..

Edit4: Now after trying it, i encountered atleast one "problem", not sure if its a real problem since i havent tried the .iso yet..

But 2 objects/files failed to integrate, thougt maybe you can take a look at that

Edit: Piece of s***.. Sun virtualbox says "the image is read only" or something...

Altho its not the image thats the problem but the virtual harddrive...

May solve by rebooting but i dont want that.. now im p***ed :@

But it seems, that I have found a solution:

when I copy the folder with the Updates on C: everything is o.k. !

But when I want it to fetch it from my USB-Stick from G:

the Proggie show no reaction.

That did not happen with the earlier version 0.4.0a

one service that is missing under tweaks is to set system restore. i always turn it off on my systems and would like that option with this.

Excellent! Just tested out the latest build and so far it work w/o anything problems...however I do notice a typo...see the pic attachment below and you'll see

what I mean. Otherwise, no much a big deal....

Your tool works fine, so does the theme part besides my little problem, lets see if i can test it further today.
