maxXPsoft Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 I had copied ie10 cab files in to th updates folder.I removed those and its working now.weird, its supposed to do cab also. I'll lookYou need certain Updates in image before you inject IE10. By name the IE10 will run before other updates I inject IE10 and that KB2817183 update to IE10 but after all other updates. Or just name them so they will be last like I do with some of my updates so they will go first like 971033 I put a 0 in front of the 9 and all my other 9 number WU so they go firstWhat I tried didn't work on the update errors. I'll have to build an install and test Cleanup.cmd in a VM with current[No_Inject]List=2506143,2533552,2552343,2809900,2823180

maxXPsoft Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) jbm what you may need to do is install without any updates and then collect your new list after installing all WU and rebooting and checking again. I do that several times to make sure I have everythingthenOpen command prompt and do a Systeminfo > Systeminfo.txtI done that recent and chopped it down from the 140 to right now 100 Edited April 22, 2013 by maxXPsoft

maxXPsoft Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) Think I'll try that also see if it cures some of my ill's.I added the 4 updates needed before IE10 to Windows Updates and the KB2775511 which eliminates many HotfixesThen turned off Disable Pausing. I'll inject IE10 and the 2817183 update to it after WU pauses. That way when it hits desktop it won't be saying I need updates to IE9 or previous.i'll see what happens Edited April 23, 2013 by maxXPsoft

maxXPsoft Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) jbm I added a box will ask if you want to inject IE10 after it integrates Updates with 6.7.6. I get no errors that wayUse the file above IE10_Slipstream.cmd , just have to get the exe and the .msuOn the update issue I tried to inject KB2533552 after all the updates and I got thisProcessing 1 of 1 - D:\APPS\IE10_X64\KB2533552\Windows6.1-KB2533552-x64.msu: An error occurred applying the Unattend.xml file from the .msu package.I moved it to Cleanup.cmd and it installed just fine. It will go by that ListWindows6.1-KB982018-v3-x64.msu was in my list and injected just fine here.I made changes to the way I was adding Updates so next version 6.7.6 may help. I figured out no matter what I told Dism it does what it wants to do and I didn't notice that beforeI'll release that shortly Edited April 26, 2013 by maxXPsoft
