May 14, 200917 yr i am trying to copy a 6.4GB .nsf (notes DB) from my c: to a Ext USB HDD so far i have tried SyncToy Robocopy TeraCopy.synctoy doesn't even see it, robocopy falls over i have increased the page file to max and teracopy falls over at about 4GBi have red about lots of programs out there but i reallly cant find one that will handle a really large single file pls help
May 14, 200917 yr what is the file system on the target usb HDD? if its FAT32 then youll need to change the format to NTFS or split the file since FAT32 wont do files 4gb+and ive copied 20+ Gb single file with teracopy so i can tell you its not a limitation of that software
May 14, 200917 yr teracopy falls over at about 4GBbacking geek's comment. Limitation of the file system.

May 16, 200917 yr You don't need ANY special tool to copy a 6gb file. Just drag and drop with Windows Explorer. It works just fine. I keep hundreds of DVD rips on my drive and move them around all the time.
May 17, 200917 yr Apart from the FAT32 issue, u can try this software also..http://www.roadkil.net/downloads/unstopcp-4b.zip
