Issues during Win XP SP3 installation.

I will try to disclose everything that I feel is relevant. Of course I won't hesitate to provide any other needed info. I have mounted an .iso file to a virtual drive. It's XP pro with SP3 integrated.

The operating system that I am using now was installed the exact same way. The reason I am trying to install another OS is because the one I'm using now won't allow me to use a modem that I need to use. I did some research on why the drivers would not work and I was basically given the impression that it has something to do with the fact that this is a Lite version of XP that had something removed which I need to get this modem to work.

I did look through the forum and I saw some similar issues so I made sure that WIN51 and WIN51IP files had "Windows" inside them and I made sure that the 3rd one (WIN51IP.SP3) was empty, since it's what I read in other threads.

After I pass the screen where it asks me if I want Install..Repair... or Quit... I pick install and this screen pops up.

Insert the CD labeled:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD

into your CD-ROM drive.

Press ENTER when ready.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Where does that "lite" XP come from ? What's written on the CD?

I downloaded the iso straight off the internet, never had a CD.
