blackwar it's fine.. the method i used was to boot into safe mode, w/o having the wfp ask you anything. i think we can have both methods on the forum.. ;-) ..

besides your method is geared towards the patch from tgtsoft.. mine was just a patch some person figured out the same values that tgtsoft did and distributed the file around... [which is pretty much the same]

Anyhow in the chaninja theme you are using, did you mean to leave the square box on the start menu (left corner)?

if I'm not mistaken the theme also has a cooperate edition in the appearance tab that basically cuts off that box...

I just didn't want you to get flamed and stuff.. :)

anyway what box are u talking about?

well... not quite.. in the chaninga theme it has 2 versions..

the cooperate version eliminates the box..

goto display::appearance tab::: and select the cooperate version ;-)

hope that helped out bro...

i was p***ed off about that box once.. then the author fixed it ;-)

I'm really glad he included a shellstyle with his latest version.. makes everything match...

Thanks,

it also says in the readme that it changes the copy / empty recycle bin animations stuff.. why dont i see any difference... and it also says something about the internet explorer animation thing's background.. did anything actually change after u install the shell 32 thing?

install it!!!!

it makes the theme complete... I'll let ya figure it out yourself...

and don't worry you can always revert back.

if I'm not mistaken ... the shell32 was only included in RC1.5

RC1.5 came with a lot of cool addons.. new icons/ got rid of that windows flag in ie, wallpapers, etc..

Can't rem all the details, I removed all themes from my computer.

is there any possible way to clarify that piaqt?

when you mean theme, are you talking about .msstyles themes? which theme engine ? (9x, xp, new one develeped by stardock, etc..?)

or you just meant applying a theme from the stylexp menu vs the display menu?...is there a chance of posting a screenshot please? I might get a better idea...

*I mean .msstyles themes.

*Style XP

*and applying theme via stylexp.

I'm beginning to get it. Been playing with Stylebuilder and Reghack a few days. I am so not a programmer! BTW: Where's the attachment box?

piaqt

I think attachment is disabled in this section :-(

Resource Hacker becomes quite a useful tool, not only for .msstyles but just in general.

nope there is no difference from applying a theme via stylxp or the display properties...

BLACKWAR

not sure what to tell you... if installed properly all should be done...
