Problems with Media Player Classic

Recommended Posts

With Windows Media Player 6.0. I got some weird image with Japanese signs on it, and then got directed to the WMP download page.

I've checked for curiosity both clips - no problem for VLC Player 0.8.6f and MPC 6.4.9.1.

The reason for which you can't playing them is simple: WMP v9 (VC-1 Simple/Main) codec is required - info from GSpot.

You need the Windows Media Format v9 runtime installed to play those.
