smithxi Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 (edited) What computer hardware companies are strictly American made? Are there any American made monitors? Edited November 9, 2007 by smithxi
deda Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 I am not English native. It happens a long time, I believe is a business choice. Hollywood is the best example. Cameras, lenses, films, all hardware is imported. Why? Ideas make more money. MS is M$ because sells ideas.
RJM Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 (edited) Monitors? Sort of. Here's one company.VDC vidio display corporationFor about $50K you can get a CRT projector that will do 1600 X 1200 floor to ceiling.http://www.videodisplay.com/html/display_systems.html Edited November 9, 2007 by RJM
bonestonne Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 old supermicro boards were made in america...by old, i mean 8-9 years old. its been a long time since anything was really made in america....stuff that's made in germany is very high quality though..more specifically the mechanical type stuff.
nmX.Memnoch Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Some parts are still made stateside. Both Intel and AMD (both American companies) have fabs in the states, but the final product is assembled in other countries.
