I think i kinda understand aviv00.

He wants all the other versions act the same way he did to Ultimate. For ex, all the removals, settings for Ultimate, can they apply to other versions too.

@aviv00,

what u can do is vilte each version seperately b/c one versions lack the feature of another except Ultimate.

ah yes, i asked nuhi about this the other day and he's not going to do it "no way hose", i think mainly for legal reasons as he only wants people to edit the version they currently own and have the license for. if that makes sense

Strange

on the thing above i written that was above was if you clicked apply it applied it to all the of versions on the disk rather than just the 1, is that the same thing you wanting to do. so what i written above does matter really. i was going upon what name265 was saying.

You will have to remove the other versions (rebuild method on ultimate) and then mount the install.wim

copy the ultimate version so there is more than one copy and just add the newer ones you copied to the xml (so you can select it)

complicated and not making a guide on it lol

then you can edit each version, so you will have like 5 (or whatever) Vista Ultimate Editions all different in their own way. So have a Ultimate Edition for each computer depending on what they need?

to aviv00

just make independant wims of ur choice

like u said

1. a fully edition --full.wim

2. full edition without langs and drivers --- nolangdrv.wim

3. like 2 and few more stuff that removed --2removd.wim

4. ripped off everything ---allremvd.wim

now do "imagex /append " to append all these imagex to singe wim

now select requied wim the Answerfile
