Hey, I have been a fan of 2000 for a while. Really hated to install XP but these newer laptops seem to require it.

I guess what I am saying is XP2Vista.

Guys, did you ever get the sysdm.cpl 101.res dialog to work? As you can see it is working in XP.

Yep it's working for me BUT I have to talk to damian to change the windows version to say: Windows 2000 Professional not Windows Vista.

I also tried a LANG_ENGLISH version as well.

For me, it works with the default script (the one you posted up there).

Besides I have modified it and now its contents are correctly displayed (at least are displayed the same that Windows 2000 default one). But the fact is that script mod must be done with the installer. I will tell damian to include in the update.

Just noticed that we are both missing 2.bmp. It should also show:

Tell me where and I will fix it. Because if I take a pic from Windows Vista RTM Final, the System Dialog does not seem like the one in Win2k at all.

Try a photoshop fix to see where that bmp goes, OR try to fix yourself and send the code.

and yeah i know it does not look like it.

There is a little program that may be worthwhile to aid this project. It's called transparent icons. Basically it gets rid of the boxes around the text of your desktop icons and leaves the text intact. You can download it here. This program uses very little resources. Hope this helps.
