I just installed WME 7.1. I was trying to setup a custom profile. I have used the Windows Media 9 series codecs in this version of WME before on a WinME PC. Problem is that the only two choices I'm given for audio are : "Windows Media Audio 9 Voice" and "Windows Media Audio 9.1 Professional" The odd thing is if I use one of the generic profiles that are including it automatically encodes using Windows Media Audio 9.1. Why isn't "Windows Media Audio 9/9.1" one of the choices I'm given? I have been installing other codecs on this system. I have used some of mdgx's updates and others of my own. Please Help!
