I'm not ready to take that sitting down. This start/stop problem didn't exist before pssuspend. I'm trying my modified code to see if that helps- btw cyberloner, - which code did you use? Didn't notice that with my install at all? Strange?

Just rebuilt my image & ran with around a dozen pnp drivers all recognized & all worked superbly, used the psSuspend & found it to be very smooth. Cheers Guys Regards MC

Contact MS & they should send you a copy free of charge, after all a hard drive failure will leave in some trouble with out a copy of the os.

Thanks Cumminbk Thats the strange thing I enable quicklaunch & everything usually appears in the systray inc IE, but occasionally the show desktop does not?

I know the show desktop item is always present as default in windows, but occasionally in my creations it does not show after a reformat? strange. Is there any way to ensure it stays or can I tweak it? very handy thing to have there at times. I searched around twenty pages & went through most of the registry tweaks. Thanks Guys Cheers MC

Thats correct inside i386, however there is many examples of the winnt.sif just need to do a basic search, you don't need anything flash just the basics & ensure you are showing all your file extensions in explorer it can be a problem. Good Luck

Don't know whats going on here Muiz but I've renamed that exactly & not working at all.

However quite many of those exe's after extraction don't contain the inf's either as I have found with a few of my drivers.

Ive been having the same prob since sp1, I have not fully updated my os for a while though. Workin on that now that Ryans latest pack is out.

Think you'll find it to be excellent. I'm certainly sold on usin it on my tricky ua software installs. Good Luck.

Don't know what ya doin dude, but I can tell ya Ive installed all of Ryans stuff on several machines with no issues at all. As the man said himself literally thousands of people have done the same & again no problems?? I know Ryan does not release these packs without thoroughly testing them first.

Bit lost guys Dled the medium pack as ive sp1 slipped into an admin install already. Noticed in the pack only has the slipped.exe Is it then just a matter of extracting my source to the pack & running each slipped.exe I require?
