Just a quick cmd file call it reboot.cmd will do & call it after the last app you installed prior to the reboot you need in runonceex. CLS @echo off ECHO. ECHO Restarting the PC in approx...Ten Seconds.... psshutdown.exe -r -t 10 -f -m "Windows XP will now restart in Ten Seconds,now rebooting!" EXIT Cheers MC. ps.You will of course need psshutdown.exe a simple search & DL will procure that for you tho.

Just about to upgrade my existing P4 2.53Ghz Gigabyte Mobo with raid, 1 gig of ram. Pls anyone comment & advise, I had a quote from my local comp guy who is generally pretty good on the following machine Intel P4-3.0Ghz ASUS P5P800 Mobo GeCube 256mbATI Radeon 9600Pro video 4 off 512DDR400 Ram 2 off WD 300Gb Sata Hdd 400W ATX Case Runs out @ approx $1,200 Aus As far as the raid goes not familar with the Sata units is there a decent site where I can read up on this to have a better idea whats going on. Slightly off topic guys has anyone noticed a problem making a Nero startsmart link to quick launch using Eng. XP. I made an sfx package to install my shortcuts as usual & when launching nero from QL complains of missing Dll's? However if I create this manually it works correctly. Any pointers guys? Cheers MC.

i mean to say....after making switchless installer of any application....will i need to use any switch for silent installation??? or should pust command as below "%systemdrive%\install\xxx.exe" ( there is no switches ) or still i have to use switches as below... "%systemdrive%\install\xxx.exe /s /qn" Thats right once you build the 7zip or winrar installer you simply call the the exe it produces no switches as you showed here. The prog switches need to be prepackaged into the 7zip installer, very handy to automate your installation in ua etc.

OK think I found the problem.It seemed to be my Canon printer with the built in usb card reader causing the problem. I normally leave these devices on so the pnp drivers auto install duing setup, but apparently this is causing the intermittant disk not found error. Also messing up my optical drive letters. Think I can live with this one though because windows still loads these drivers & when setup finishes I simply switch on the device an windows installs the device. Cheers MC.

To my knowledge bootfix.bin is the only file reqd to change that on bootup.

Now if you had read his first post..thats not exactly what hes looking for? He said he read Keytotimes thread. try reading the posts yourself..before responding. I know Ive made Keytotimes cutdown ver & say its very good but does not suit what I require. I prefer a more versatile production somewhat like NCAB. Just realized Ive been doin this here for two years now..

Hey guys approx how many pnp drivers are you installing? & is that the issue maybe? I do under twelve & no slow downs or issues here.
