  1. Please rebuild your UWXPCD, WITHOUT RyanVM's UpdatePacks. If that works, add my DriverPacks, one by one. Sorry, but that's the only way to figure it out!
  2. DP CP | AMD CPU 1.2.2.2 [DONE] (null update)
  3. I noticed these drivers ARE included. I forgot about it... I guess that is because there's hardly anyone who has them...
  4. it should be 7.2.1.1030 ← In fact... it should be 7.2.1.1003 Fixed Version 2.0964 is already available!
  5. If I understand this right, this is a summary of the 'main topic'? Thanks, it's very interesting, but because I had lost the track of the main topic, things were becoming quite complicated: big topic, with many huge posts that were not always related to the protection of an UWXPCD. Thanks again for this summary P.S.: and thanks to all those who contributed to it, of course!!!
  6. I just came across this post, on some forum, and I thought I'd better share it with you guys. It's very simple: create a shortcut with the following target: %windir%\explorer.exe "hcp://CN=Microsoft%20Corporation,L=Redmond,S=Washington,C=US/Remote%20Assistance/Escalation/Unsolicited/Unsolicitedrcui.htm" and give it a name you like. All you have to do now is entering a pc's computername or IP address and he/she will be prompted right away: all he/she has to do is click 'OK' and that's it! I hope this post is useful to somebody...
  7. Don't push it too far! IMO laptops are still better.... Stopwatch on, you VS me, you on a smartphone, I on a notebook, let's see who's first finished writing a document of one page... Maybe you're a bit optimistic? P.S.: that's been a looong time, prathapml!
  8. Check Task Manager > Processes. Is there anything obscure in this list?
  9. You want templates? Then you'll have to use google & websites, not a program. At least, I don't know of any program that comes with 'lots of templates'. You could try www.templatemonster.com www.designload.net
  10. Wow The least I can say is that you've got a great taste and probably an even better sense of humour! Marvellous avatar (Almost beats mine... ) And, o yes, .... welcome!
  11. In the new DriverPack MassStorage all these things are handled now (the structures of both the nForce 4 AMD & Intel Edition drivers are integrated in the folder structure/txtsetup.sif structure). Please let me know if it works for you (when the new version has been released, should be tomorrow).
  12. Hi, my name is "Bâshrat the Sneaky" . First of all, this driver won't end up in either of the Graphics DriverPacks, because it's not a graphics card but a FM/TV tuner card. Simple as that. Next, did you read the MSFN's guide and/or uAwiki's articles?
  13. Maybe it'd be useful if you'd say in the first post that this is a method where drivers are kept, and because they are installed from CD/DVD, you'll always need to insert your CD/DVD to install new drivers. Or did I miss that part?
  14. How can you be so sure it uses the rhtp3xx driver instead of the hpt3xx driver, while your HWID is being referenced as hpt3xx in the txtsetup.sif file? In fact I'm asking - where did you find the proof? If you can come up with any proof, that would be helpful (a screenshot of the properties of your hpt3xx controller). Anyway, it should be solved for you in the next version of DriverPack MassStorage: ... %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_00011103 = \"hpt3xx\"" REM HPT3xx controller on Abit KT7A-RAID (GoogelchenTheGreat) %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_00011103&REV_03 = \"hpt3xx\"" %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_100415BD = \"rhpt3xx\"" %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0004 = \"hpt3xx\"" %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0005 = \"hpt3xx\"" %T1% "PCI\VEN_1103&DEV_0006 = \"hpt3xx\"" ...
  15. Things might/should be fully working in the next version. The driver structure has changed again, which might have a good effect... or not. Please report back in this topic!
  16. LOL Two possibilities for your misery: 1) you are using a multi-boot disc and you did NOT read the manual for that; 2) you're doing something really strange, because several hundreds of other users do NOT suffer this problem (okay, okay, anymore). PS: it's SNEAKY, not sneak and thanks, I like it too
  17. The AMD-8111 PCI Bus Master IDE Controller driver worked well? PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3114&SUBSYS_31141095&REV_02\4&310B4F6B&0&2830: Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATALink Controller This one is NOT included in the list of HWIDs! :s I double checked: it's also not in the .inf files! On what motherboard is that? :s An unreleased one, for testing purposes?
  18. @peachy: that driver is included in the next version of DriverPack MassStorage! @firstinstall: I might have solved in the next version of DriverPack MassStorage!
  19. I've included this driver in the new DriverPack MassStorage, I'm curious if it will work or not!
  20. I'll reply to the rest later, but first this part.... This is what I have: %CDDRIVE%\OEM\bin\7za.exe x -y -aoa %CDDRIVE%\OEM\DriverPack_*.7z -o"%DPDIRROOT%" this code does exactly what you 'invented'.... In fact, your code is useless: the FOR loop is completely unnecessary, if you simple use the asterisk...
  21. Would you care to tell us which VERSION you are using, if you find yourself so much smarter than everybody else? :sarc:
  22. OK, I'll add this to the list right after completing this post. This was already on my wishlist, only it would be quite difficult to do in batch coding... So this feature will be suspended untill everything is conversed to C. (Working together with djbe for that. He's optimistic in the release date of a beta/final... I'm rather pessimistic )
  23. Multiple (MANY) instances of the same file... But I solved it already by renaming the files under TEXTMODE setup! (Took more than an 1.5 hour in total to check everything... I wanted to make sure there wasn't a 100% chance I could mix up the drivers.... unfortunately there wasn't, so I've split everything up.)
  24. OK.... Since the AMD 6.66 and Intel 7.13 nForce 4 driver updates, the mass storage drivers structure has changed significantly. I'll try to figure out a way to let them all coexist.... EDIT: nForce 4 AMD 6.66/Intel 7.13 mass storage driver structure: pataraid => ~nForce 1/2/3 drivers; NO .cat file(s) raidtool => the raidtool... sata_ide => nvata.inf; nvata.sys; nvata.cat sataraid => nvraid.inf; nvraid.sys; nvata.cat => the filesizes of the AMD 6.66/Intel 7.13 drivers are EXACTLY the same except for the nvata.cat files in the sata_ide folders of AMD/Intel. => this will be very hard to get completely working/compatible
