  2. Update - all DriverPacks are available for download again, with 2 exceptions: DriverPack Graphics B and DriverPack Sound A. These will be available around midnight (GMT). Again my apologies.
  3. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=61730 Torrents are too slow.

  5. I do not approve that. Explanation.
  6. What does this mean? Did you try the newest DriverPacks BASE or not? Did you try the manual solution or not? Please try to make posts that make more sense!
  7. That's already on the future feature list. It just won't come before the C++ version of the DriverPacks BASE.
  8. @esp: are you using the latest versions of the DriverPacks?
  9. I'll tell you why. This BSOD is NOT occurring when using ANY VIA VT8237 controller: it only happens on CERTAIN VIA-chipset-based motherboarrds. I assume it was solved for that one motherboard in that topic, hence it got entitled as 'SOLVED'. This board is again another challenge. Unbelievable but true, VIA's VT8237 driver is even worse than some other (nVidia, RealTek) drivers...
  10. SUCKY INTERNET CONNECTION AT SCHOOL I typed in a complete reply and all of a sudden I had to log in again. Yes, indeed, my entire message was lost! :| :@ :@ :@ :@ [/offtopic] No djbe, I finished the upload, only the link was set incorrectly. I posted a reply yesterday that I had fixed the link, but apparently, somehow, it never got posted... The problem is that because of the rather large amount of updates, many people try to download it all at the same time. Therefore there's a huge bandwidth increase, apparently too much for one of the two servers, that has a daily 10GB bandwidth limit. Next time, I'll spread the updates amongst three servers (one temporary download server, to take some load of the two main servers). This means this problem is only temporary and won't happen again in the future. Another option is just to release only one DriverPack update (or 2 smaller updated DriverPacks). Thanks for your understanding.

  16. Apparently not. Interesting thought, tough. But what kind of improvement could/would you (like) to make?
  17. 1. Waiting a couple of hours is NOT much. 2. If you cannot slipstream my DriverPacks, that's because your missing the DriverPacks BASE. Check my website for more information. 3. Yes, that's possible. But then I do not see the point of using 'my DriverPacks'. 4. It's not the SI folder, but the S folder that you need for Silicon Image drivers! Note that this includes ALL Silicon Image drivers!
  18. 1. During TEXTMODE setup, the .dll files are not required. Except for nvcchflt.sys for nForce 1/2/3 based motherboards. 2. This has been proven, since the latest DriverPack MassStorage do work very well on all nForce-based motherboards.
  19. It depends on the type of data that has to be compressed. Video/music files cannot be compressed (or very very very little), while text files (.txt, .doc) can be compressed strongly. P.S.: why don't use an additional (temporary) hard disk?
  20. You must configure your BIOS correctly in order to boot from an additional PCI RAID card! Did you do that already?
  21. I don't see how this is related to DriverPack MassStorage! Topic moved to the Device Drivers forum.
  22. Since it seems all nForce setups are working fine now (with ONE nForce 3 based motherboard exception), is this problem solved too? Don't hesitate to post a reply!
