  1. And does that work? If it does, I'll use that... EDIT: the syntax inisetval isn't listed?
  2. I understand you, I'm the same. But if I see that something has been working for hundreds of people, then I'll gladly use it...
  3. I'll do a search... 1. silent install http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...221&hl=setpoint2. preconfigure settings http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...791&hl=setpoint I hope this works for you. BTW... It took only 3 mins or so to find it...
  4. Why do you want a cmd file so badly, if the executable has been confirmed working by so many?
  5. I know that... but the one that I find in the current directory doesn't contain the OemPnPDriversPath...
  6. I've got one more idea: instead of copying the contents of the folder UWXPCD_ROOT to the root of your UWXPCD, copying an executable to the root of your UWXPCD and execute that one! What do you think? EDIT: while applying it, I discovered the big NO: this takes again time to compress & decompress... even 1.5 min for 167MB when set to 'store'! So definetely not a good idea... (although it would simplify things)
  7. I will... I'm starting to create the new DriverPack MassStorage this very moment!
  8. For me it is like this: K:\OemPnPDriversPath.cmd K:\$OEM$\$1\DP K:\I386\winnt.sif And OemPnPDriversPath.cmd has to search for devicepaths in K:\$OEM$\$1\DP, adding them to K:\I386\winnt.sif. EDIT: but as I said, it doesn't work...
  9. I can't get this script to work... It DOES give output: I find a new WINNT.SIF file in the current directory, with everything in it except the comments. But unfortunately also without OemPnPDriversPath... How did it work for you Bilou_Gateaux?
  10. Does it work, or haven't you tested it yet?
  11. I'm using FF & TB for several months now. Never looking back... why? -faster -works more intuitively -no more security issues -extensions & themes -and so many more...
  12. I like both Filezilla server and BFTP server!
  13. Remove the nVidia drivers out of Win XP But that's quite some work!
  14. It's not working properly in the DriverPack MassStorage, one of the known issues
  15. PLEASE SEARCH! It has been covered before...
  16. hmm... it seems you can't add/apply those regkeys because they are already in use by the system. So you will have to add/apply them BEFORE the system uses them. Applying this regfile from cmdlines.txt may work I think.
  17. Just use ALL of them (they don't consume much space, so who cares?)
  18. Hmm... Again a 'never-seen-before-error'... I think it has to do with the txtsetup.sif file. Please post yours! (the one patched by my batch files, duh!)
  19. This is very difficult to give an answer to. There are several things that don't work properly, simply because the manufacturers didn't follow the rules... For the nVRAID problem, I refer you to this topic. I'm starting working on the new DriverPack MassStorage TODAY!
  20. I like that lawyer Can you give me his address? This may seem 'odd', but I think it's fairly reasonable! Even a plumber gets paid for the time he worked, not for WHAT he did...
  21. I only realize NOW how bad the old batchfiles were... The slipstreaming mechanism wasn't so bad, but could be better (which it is now). The real problem with the old batchfiles is the following: it DOES NOT delete the previous DriverPack files! That's why some people might have had problems... Now this problem is fixed: the batch file just checks for any possible file of the DriverPacks, with any of both methods, no matter which method you are currently using, and deletes those files if it finds them! Just wanted to let you know So far everything is working great while testing, but the 'tricky' things still have to be tested!
  22. It simply doesn't work The ignore value WILL work for drivers that aren't shipped by default on the Win SP2. But the nVidia Graphics drivers ARE. So Windows will tend to use the older, but signed ones that it comes with... I'm sorry to awake you from your dream I *wish* it was that easy...
  23. You're enjoying this aren't ya? Well, I'm not gonna remake the PDF (again) untill there are more the one typo found In fact I *am* The same has happened to me before No I'm not... but it's just funny When I'll rewrite my guide, I'll add a link 'Report typo/broken link/remark', which opens a reporting form!
