  1. I think the Promise 378 drivers are currently not anymore in the DriverPack, because of incompatiblity issues. It will be added to the new rebuild, though!
  2. LOL nice So you got it working, but what was wrong before?
  3. Thanks, but already knew that. But the question is: do the non-raid ones work when you've only added the RAID drivers???
  4. I'm sorry to say this, but the default monitor topic isn't worth stickying... Additonally, it's not requested by many members... And I have to keep this in mind: lots of stickies VS overview, clarity. If you tell me the links I should add to 'read this first...", I'll add them
  5. OK... forgot about that post... (soooooo many posts ) Well, I will rebuild the DriverPack MassStorage from scratch anyway, so this problem should be solved then too! (I hope to release it 3 weeks from now)
  6. You're the first one to report problems with this controller... Please try to get it working by integrating it manually. If you don't know how, here's a guide.
  7. should be: \i386 \$OEM$ \$OEM$\$$ \$OEM$\$1 \$OEM$\$Docs \$OEM$\$Progs @Astalavista: he IS using the standard format, only with alot of comments...
  8. Thanks for defending me, Astalavista, but I think you're overreacting a 'bit' I didn't take it as offense... @msfn11: Unfortunately, I *DO* have to think so... Astalavista is completely right when he's saying lots of posts here are because of newbies whom are to lazy to search... And I think Astalavista is right again when he says that this is only parttime: I don't have the time to search every time again for this or that... I'm replying to questions that have been answered before with an average of about 4 posts a day... I don't even have the time to read the newest evolutions in the other parts of the MSFN forums. Please don't get mad when you don't get immediately the reply you need. Instead, search better! Search DOES work As you know, if the thing you're looking for isn't in the first five results, then you've entered the wrong search keywords... Here it's the third link...
  9. Cool Someone who works for LEGO I've been playing for years with those toys! (I once 'invented' a fan with gear using LEGO Technic, proud I was ) Back ontopic: what method did you use? The txtsetup.oem method?
  10. The main problem with both Microsoft IntelliPoint and the keyboard variant (don't remember the name), is that you have to specify the type of keyboard/mouse in the switches when you're installing it silently... So you can't make it 'universal', because you will always have to specify which mouse/keyboard you use....
  11. Huh???? It seems you're right... Will fix it...
  12. Yes... Not my mistake... Blame the manufacters' driver writers They all have different inf files and filesizes Next time don't start a new topic, but post it in the DriverPack WLAN topic. What's your problem with it in fact?
  13. Got it. Thanks. CLS Unless you set Oempreinstall=No in your winnt.sif... (if I remember well) EDIT: I think I'm wrong... Well, the reactions at this post will tell you
  14. if you know how to disable "default monitor" thing, it is very nice of you to tell him right here instead of sending him to look for it. i know this is not a SILVER plate which you are not going to give to him. Why don't you give him a SILVER SPOON so that he can get his job done. I don't remember it by heart And why would I have to do the search, if he can as well?
  15. I don't know for sure, but I think you're one of the first... I guess I should leave out the non-RAID drivers of the SiI3112 and SiI3114 controllers. It *should* work without them... We'll see... Thanks for your post!
  16. Proudly I present another tweak LOL in the CPanel folder, open the INSTALL.INI file and change to And no control panel shortcut will be created! (duh )
  17. Erm??? You're saying lowering the ram speeds did do the trick? :s
  18. Sorry, I don't have ANY experience with WinPE or network installations or multiboot CD/DVDs... I hope someone else can help you...
  19. Haven't tested it yet
  20. thanks ATM I'm working on the other DriverPacks, but this update won't take very long I think. I can't promise a date but I think I'll put a new version online within a week...
  21. You DID modify the dosnet.inf file with the entries I mentioned in the installation instructions? If you haven't, it won't work!
  22. It seems you have to unpack the data1.cab and data2.cab files. You can do that with the console utility i6comp.exe. Use google to find and download it, move it to the folder %windir%\system32. Now you have to open a command window in the folder in which the data1.cab and data2.cab files are in. Now enter the following command: i6comp x data1.cab and voila, there are the files you're searching for!
  23. The best method to use my DriverPacks is the following: -apply EVERYTHING you want to your UWXPCD, save this one in a separate folder (or save a copy on a CD/DVD RW), EXCEPT my DriverPacks -every time you apply my DriverPacks, you apply to the back-up in that separate folder or on CD/DVD RW) I guess I should write some short tutorials on it, will do that this week (won't take to much time)
  24. I've been working on DriverPack Graphics yesterday, and I've used this tutorial of you, SiMoNsAyS! (only I didn't include RadClocker)
