    thats all well and good but how do i fix it?
  3. hey guyes! when i go to install xpize, i select normal installation but when i do an error message comes up and says "Xpize runs only runs on a 32 bit cloor depth display". I know what its talking about i just dont know how to fix it! any help? thx
  4. well if it is used, i recommend whipping the system clean then re-installing windows! You can customize it further to YOUR likeing and the system performance will in-prove dramatically! and it gives you the feeling that YOU just bought a NEW computer! If you choose to do that, after the fact make sure you follow this guide

  7. that seems really odd to me because you can only buy ram in... 32mb 64mb 128mb 256mb 512mb and as you will probably see they all add up to eachother ex 32+32=64 64+64=128, etc etc

    well then its time to open your computer tower! only do this is you feel comfortable otherwise consult your local geek!What your going to end up doing is Opening Your Computer Tower Pulling out the password jumper (if your computer has one, if not u cant do this) Closeing the computer cover Starting the computer Then you will be able to log in with out a password shutting down the computer opening the computer putting the password jumper back in closeing the computer starting the computer again logging in without a problem then resetting the password Look in your manual to see if your computer even has a password jumper first(i know dells do) and if it does you'll have to see where it is located hope this helps
  13. A complete clean install of XP SP2, well now i'm stumped because it should wipe out all viruses and everything if you do a "clean install"

  15. did you mean a clean install of windows or internet explorer (i'm guessing internet explorer) I had that problem once too! and it was all because Ms antispy was stoping it from being the defult browser, so i just had to change that checkpoints settings! If you have a bit of trouble reading/typeing english and have a different native toung, navigation around msfn can be a bit difficult, to make it easier, go here. you can translate all of msfn and all its links into your language of choice and there is a place where you can translate your language into english so people will be able to understand you a bit better. Hope this is useful.
  22. thats ok, the google bar doesnt like me ither as for your question, you dont need to be hunting around for all the icon names and reshacking them, just use iconpackager the easy way to change your icons
  23. i know some programs can veto the system from going INTO standby but i dont know why it would no come out of standby, its probably a hardware configuration problem. ask Zxian or Sonic, they might know
