HFSLIP replaces old versions while integrating IE7 to SP3 source. browseui.dll ieencode.dll jscript.dll shdocvw.dll shlwapi.dll vbscript.dll These are not related IE7. Most of them version 6. Comes from IE6 with little update. SP3 containes higher version of script file. IE7 replace older. In fact original setup does not touch these files. Skip them because source files are higher version. html.iec I dont know which one is better. 10.0.5730.13 comes with IE7 EDIT: In more informations look likes 6.0.5730.13 2007.10.31.2 comes with SP3. PS: SP3+WU+IE7+WMP11+rootsupd+MRT works perfect

By the way. That link is before SP1. Folders changed alittle. Best and most easy way is. Mountrw boot.wim 2 edit lang.ini unmount commit then change boot.ini in DVD image. English files will be in boot.wim. But in menu u will not see it.

U just modified install.wim. I also have to mod boot.wim too. Mount boot.wim 2 (Setup) In sources folder. There is a file named lang.ini. probbaly looks like this. Sorry i dont know. Romanian string. I just wrote ro-RO Do it like this.

This is x86.rem.lang.xml DO NOT FORGET. Install.wim must allways have a language pack. If your install.wim have only one language. First add your local. Set default language to your local. Then remove english language....

I use this batch for it. I hope u know commands. Basicly. My Offline dir is E:\Wim Offline windows dir E:\Wim\Windows My Turkish lang files extracted at E:\sp1\x86tr\lp-tr-tr\ U can change "1" in first line to use another version in install.wim Also dont forget to set path for WAIK on first lines of batch file.

Sorry for double post. I prefer to change MSDN DVDs to my language then slipstream SP1 to my old DVD source. PS: Allready did it. 11 in 1 all in my language. All of them work without any problem because of services or etc.

That is realy easy. Open install.wim with WAIK. Select Language pack. Add to answer file. Configure it to remove. That run pkgmgr in commandline with answer file. Installation must contain a language pack. For example u have English MSDN DVD. But u want to make it Bulgarian. First add Bulgarian language pack. Change default language to bg-BG Then remove english language pack.

U can remove MUI packs with WAIK.

Probably Vista steel keeping old WinSxS files. And too many backup files.

I just integrated SP1 to untouched Vista x32 and x64 to all versions. (Total 11) To try instaled one of them. Tried to get Audit mode. Everything was perfect. Then i treid to sysprep.... What da... An error message. Can not compled task. I rerun sysprep. Did same settings. (OOBE, Generalize, Restart) Same error.... Shut down manually. Restart computer. Windows OOBE treing to start bu can not be succesfuly. Hang for hour and hours. Then i installed another version of Vista same error again. x32 and x64 any of them can not survive after sysprep. PS: Based on new installed Ultimate x64 SP0 computer. (I am a XP user. Installed Vista to integrate SP1) Totally untouched. Turkish x32 and x64 DVDs. (Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, Enterprise all of them)

Oh ye. i see now. There is at least three type of fsx for cab file. The one i send here working good. One from IE7 updates can extract file but not running setup. And another one give me allways error. Lucky me. Found good one at first run.

Yep u can use any kind of program to run after decompress. just edit HEX:20 00 to HEX:60 00 in front of your program.

U have to refresh your source folder. Copy XP CD to your harddrive again and delete yhis broken one.

That must be IE7 Config site. *Site pishing, smooth fonts, search page settings* After u make configuration your home page will be setted ones.

I want to say it maybe not HFSLIP problem. I have same problem while i use nLite too Because i slipstream same hotfixes. And by the way "nLite uses Booogy WMP11 Slipstreamer" too. Probably this is a bad hotfix problem because 0d14r3 says it is working.

i run hfslip by another cmd file to log everything It log everything. copeing entire SOURCE folder too. So at last file maybe 4-5Mb. but i can see which hotfixes and files intergrated. Need some modding for "I HAVE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS" and few time need to press ENTER to skip EULA and FAQ pages. "Depends on HFANSWER.INI"
