    multiple users

I have been using nlite, ryanvm updates, making silent installers for quite some time. Until recently I have had no need for more than one user on my machine, so I check "Full Unattended" in nlite. I automatically log on as administrator and never add any users...... but, now, I would like to add multiple users and give them access to all of my default apps. With my current settings, I cannot add users without the burdon of logging on as administrator (MY default account [and the users I add do not have access to many of my applications.]) So, I would like a welcome screen with a few users, and all the essential apps installed on there accounts. Can someone give me a tutorial link, or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. EDIT: If I cannot install my essential apps for all users, how can I create a personal account (not Administrator.)

My cmdlines.txt looks like this [Commands] "rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection nLite.inf,nLiteReg" "REGEDT32.EXE /S visual.reg" should that do the trick?

    Visual Effects

I customize my Visual Effects in Nlite, but the default setting remain. any ideas why this is happening? I have tried several different settings, but always get the same end result.
  4. Cmdow @ /hid regsvr32 /u "%commonprogramfiles%\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll" EXIT this is my scout_remove.cmd. I want to be able to do this without the annoying... I would appreciate any suggestions.
  5. RogueSpear, is there any chance you could get the AutoGK links up again (at least the .cab anyway.) Thanks EDIT: NM, the silent .exe link works.
  6. TRY THIS Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but I had the link handy.
  7. My kernel looks like this..... WHERE IS BITMAP 10? Could this be where my trouble lies?
  8. Does anyone have information about editing boot screens for multiprocessor machines? I have found loads of tutorials and apps which deal with the ntoskrnl.exe, but nothing about ntkrnlmp.exe. My plan is to customize both files and repack them to an xp cd. ANY help or advise would be appreciated. (This is also (kinda) a double post. I came here because people dealing with 64 bit windows, may be using similar hardware. I am not trying to edit 64 bit kernel files!
  9. I like winrar method as well... also link uninstaller to programs/ultraiso
  10. Thanks Scubar. I would definately have kept overlooking that. Can anyone point me in the direction of a ntkrnlmp.exe editor, or guide on editing multicpu kernel?
  11. I read here MSFN's Unattended Windows Boot Screens that I have spent quite some time editing my ntoskrnl.exe, packing it into an xp install cd (in hopes of having a preinstalled custom boot screen), and wasting my time running it through vmware. I then noticed So, do I just have to do the same things I have been doing, but only with ntkrnlmp.exe?
  12. I cannot find a switch for this app. ANy suggestions?
  13. AdminPassword = was not in there. I accidentally posted teh winnt.sif i was playing with when trying to find the problem. I could try removing AutoLogon = Yes and adding AdminPassword = XXxxXX EDIT: I have tried it with AdminPassword = XXXX, AutoLogon = Yes, and with neither. Every time I get same results. Any more ideas?
  14. My unattended setup is interrupted by the following. I hit ok, then get this screen and my winnt.sif is EDITED: [Data] Autopartition = 0 MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = Yes [Unattended] UnattendMode = FullUnattended UnattendSwitch = Yes OemPreinstall = Yes OemSkipEula = Yes FileSystem = * WaitForReboot = No NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1 DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore Hibernation = No [Display] Xresolution = 1280 Yresolution = 1024 BitsPerPel = 32 Vrefresh = 60 [SystemRestore] [GuiUnattended] AutoLogon = Yes EncryptedAdminPassword = No TimeZone = 035 OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1 [Components] [UserData] ProductKey = "XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" ComputerName = Xxxx FullName = "Xxxx Xxxx" OrgName = "Xxxx Inc." Your help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.download.com/JetAudio-Basic/300...tml?tag=lst-0-1 EDIT: I usually Configure it to play all audio, and no video. But I can do that after install if it too much trouble.
