yes i did select the unhide system protect files thing and i did see the dllcache folder but i don't see the uxtheme.dll in there

i just tried the uxtheme patcher one of the lines in the instruction is to look into c:windowssystem32dllcache and find the uxtheme.dll i did go find and go into the dllcache directory but i can't find uxtheme.dll in that directory how about u guys? babis...etc...those of u who tried the patch

hey babis is that the new version of the prophecy theme? so basically using taskbar icons doesn't makes me doing less "mouse clicks" to open a song so why bother using it? i was thinking if i can do very few clicks and be able to play a song on the taskbar without opening the prog , then it would be good, but looks like neither the m$ one nor the winamp does the job!

so another question comes up then why do we even need the winamp control then? if we can make winamp stay always on top and make it into very small size with pretty skins and with more controls ???????????????????? ?!?!?!??!?!?!??!??!??!

it sux a**! so many bugs and problems many songs won't play.....and if i play the same playlist in winamp it works......hafta click a lot of stuff to play a song(click the playlist button, add songs, possibly tell it to sort, click on the song to play- it won't play itself...)......so why bother even using it?....if u hafta click so much stuff just to play a song.. sometimes it fastforwards a song, backwards a song, by itself... weird....very messed up.... so now........use the winamp control instead! or simply make the winamp to just a bar shape....(double click it)...and make it always stay on top...... conclusion: taskbar audio player provided by ms is garbage!

i think plus is pure garbage if u want, it should be available on the web and if u don't haf a good video card, u won't be able to play the games or even install the screensavers

oh btw xp plus is pure garbage i think many ppl agree with that

ya i understand those stuff that u talked about stylexp i haf enable xp on, and run at startup off the problem is (i don't know if it is cuz i booted windows) sometimes i don't haf any xp themes at all...all of them are gone and i hafta open stylexp again now this leads to my question about what's the difference between checking run at startup or not i checked my startup stuff, and i found out that even if i haf it off, it still opens this: c:program filestgtsoftstylexpstylexp.exe /hide so its still running?

i think the ms powertoy one is a lot better the winamp one for the following reasons: 1. playlist button 2. don't hafta open the prog- the winamp one do though i don't like the fact that the ms one, u hafta create a playlist for every song u wanna play....why can't i just pick a song? question: i find that after i installed stylexp, my auto hide feature for the taskbar works pretty bad. Whenever i haf a window maximized, the taskbar won't come up (cuz its hided). If the window (no windows on my desktop) is not maximized, then the taskbar will come up haf that problem?

i should haf looked into the audio player thing further haha thx babis one question comes up now am i suppose to open the style xp thingy each time i boot to windows cuz now sometimes when i click on a .theme file, they just give me the classic windows look, and when i click on the appearance tab, i only see windows xp style and windows classic look. All the themes that i installed are gone....and then if i open stylexp again, then i get my themes listed back i thought stylexp is already integrated into my system and i don't hafta open it each time i open windows btw, nice wallpaper there...a dark theme with a dark wallpaper looks pretty convincing...though i don't like that windowsxp logo on that wallpaper can u up that?

one more thing i just installed powertoy how come i haf a weird title name for the audio player toolbar? (what the is that?) and i don't haf all the icons u haf (what the?..where is the upload in this forum?..just a tiny image that i wanna upload!) anywayz....the title is"zaxxon" and not audio player, as shown in ur screen capture, what is thaT? and i only haf 4 icons , no playlist icon ...etc...

one more thing is there any way to disabled some components of the powertoy after i installed them?....ex. the task switch thing..etc...

babis: what about if i m not using the prophecy theme i m currently using the cha-ninja theme where do i get the winamp control? why do i hafta "match"? doesn't xp's skin automatically skin taskball and all the toolbars? ms' one plays mp3 too right? one more question how do ppl group their icons in the quick launch bar?..i mean putting a separator between different groups. Is the only way to create a new toolbar for each?
