  1. this can't be done in Windows. Check if that it can be done in the BIOS.
  2. so the unknown was Daemon tools. yes,the USBport.sys has something to do with USB devices. connect them to the front USB ports. I can also see that Steam alls USB driver functions. So does it happen if you close Steam?
  3. Do you use Daemon Tools or a different tool with uses the SPTD driver? What is this TAP-Win32 Adapter V9?
  4. I checked the trace again and saw that autocheck runs for volume 7 = drive G
  5. nice to hear this. Such things can't be discovered with xperf. It only give you some hints where to start. the link doesn't work. Zip the file as 7z/RAR and upload it to mediafire.com
  6. run chkdsk /r /f for all drives. I can't see which drive autochk checks.
  7. no. Why? most settings are set by default or don't bring any improvements.
  8. your boot is slow because autochk checks the HDD. this takes 60s. You need 90s to boot to the desktop and 167s to boot completely. Check all HDDs with chkdsk
  9. you can't do this. Back all data and install Windows again.
  10. check this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/startupservice/
  11. try it. I can only see that those 3 services slow down your Windows most.
  12. your boot is slow because the HDD is busy all the time.In which SATA mode do you run your ST9500325AS? Avast and the Adaware service slows down the system a lot.! both take over 20s to start. remove both tools and use other alternatives like MSE or AntiVir. Also the KMService takes extremely long to start. After doing this run the optimization again.
  13. make a normal boottrace like I shown in my other guide and upload the trace.
  14. that MSU is English. Get the MUI from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=5a1870ba-96ad-4e47-bb9e-1671b6a64495
  15. why don't you download the full exe from the Downloadcenter and run /X:C:\IE9 to extract the IE9.
  16. which Avast version do you use? Disable the self protection in Avast.
  17. ok, so if you install the Sp1 and all other updates the usage increases a lot.
  18. 32 or 64Bit? Do you install update? And you only use small portable apps
  19. 32Bit Starter or higher edition with hacks like removed WinSxS? How many programs you use? If I install the WinSDk + VS2088,2010 I use more than the 10GB you use.
  20. remove the DRIVERS from the command line. You got a BSOD. I reported this to MS and they investigate it. If I get any news I update the first post. the boottrace is still incomplete. The km um files are temp files which are merged into 1 file: boot_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1.etl I need this file.
  21. the count is not so important. The µsec spend are important. You should contact the support.
  22. which 3rd party software (Firewall/AV software) do you run?
  23. a 30GB partition is still too small.
