the Sp1 symbols are on the symbol server. You don't need the offline installer.: srv*C:\Windows\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols; the 7-Zip tool tells you how much RAM is needed to compress the file. Select a dictionary with 32MB. This uses 1GB to compress the data. So 1GB is left in the address space of 7-zip.

yes, wait for the crash and upload it, so that cluberti can look at the dump

The "World Police" USA can't do steps if the servers are outside the USA. but the leak of internal tools inside the last ISOs is a bit critical because those builds are FBL (feature build lab) builds and no WinMain builds.

try it. if you have other issues, you can remove the hotfix again.

this is only the temp file, so xperf can't use it. run xperf -merge standby_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1_km_premerge.etl standby_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1_um_premerge.etl standby_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1.etl the merge both files. Are you now able to open the merged file?

but includes interesting stuff. I can't wait to see the beta on connect.

don't limit the size. Compress it with 7z (LZMA2 - ultra). This reduces the size a lot.
