no, it's one of those 4 services: Stop one service after the other with the Services MMC Snapin (services.msc) and check which services caused this issue.

the value 2 is fine for "Start". Are you sure the service is started and running? Delete the pf files in the prefetch folder and run Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks 10 times.

I mean the page file usage inside the Windows guest, not from your Linux-Host. Run Taskmager/ProcessExplroer inside the VM and show the memory usage summary.

this is Microsofts logic, but this is wrong. here is why: They see that PC sales drop or stay the same but Tablet sales increase. Now they made the MISTAKE: Business economics only accepts endless growing, but todays PC are so powerful that you can use them for 3-5 years. The Defender is crap. It slows down Windows soooooooooo much. Uninstalling the 5 Defender packages makes Windows 8 much, much faster.
