stay at .net and compile against Mono. btw here is the complete link to the interview I quoted earlier: http://gizmodo.com/5882797 This designer is disrespectful and doesn't accept other opinions, only his. this is a pure id***. I can't wait to see the get the Ubuntu 12.04 final.

do you mean the scroll bug? This is fixed in the Windows 8 Beta/Consumer Preview: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/01/30/acting-on-file-management-feedback.aspx

yes because you have the full admin token all the time. It makes no difference.

1700$? The page say 399$. This is a low spec notebook with a low-end CPU (only 1GHz) so the poor score of 2.8 is ok.

in this case you have evrytime admin rights and the "Run as admin" is useless. And all normal people have it turned on to the highest level. read my UAC for Dummy Guide here in the Tweaks-forum

Trace Windows 7 boot/shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume issues
MagicAndre1981 replied to MagicAndre1981's topic in Windows 7
boot is ok. You can improve the performance by using AHCI, not IDE/ATAPI mode: IDE\DiskOCZ-NOCTI Also look in the trace if MSE causes high CPU or Disk IO usage. Postboot is with 18s very long, so check if you really need all tool at startup.- 1,284 replies

the nvlddmkm.sys causes the high CPU usage. it is version 8.17.12.9551 which should be the latest beta driver version. So go back to the latest WHQL driver 285.58 and look if this fixes it. I can also see that it shares the IRQ with the USB controller. So try to put your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 into a different PCI-E slot which doesn't share IRQ with other devices.

setup.exe always generates the UAC elevation prompt, this is hardcoded. So it makes no difference

According to this page: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/LX.RD502.030 it has 3GB RAM, so the 64Bit is not needed and of course 32Bit uses all cores.

CPU Spikes at random intervals - Audio & video lagging

update the driver and enable all offload options in the driver. -
vLite can be the cause of issues if you removed too much. Look in the Last session.ini if you removed hardware drivers which are needed to recognize USB devices.
