  1. you should post your hardware specs, your current CPU temperature values and which cooler you currently use.
  2. what do you want to change?
  3. this is the same. It also takes some time. Also nice picture:
  4. this also doesn't work well. I've already tried this.
  5. link doesn't work, so I coped it here: nice to hear that this fixes it for you :thumbup
  6. WU is sometimes a bit buggy and offers things again. Hide it, like Tripredacus already suggested.
  7. no, I've explained the fast boot last year:
  8. The Displayname is also "@%systemroot%\system32\srvsvc.dll,-100" on my Windows 7.
  9. currently I have no idea.
  10. agree. Gnome3 or Unity look both much better:
  11. update the Mobile Intel® 965 Express drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+controllers&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%c2%ae+965+Express+Chipset+Family Maybe this this helps to show the MMC faster because the log shows some DWrite activaties during the gap: Also try to uninstall IE9 and go to IE8. Does this help? Also please look in the action center/reliable history, the LANmgr hang was detected by the Error reporting service. Look at the details of the entry. Do you get logs or hang dumps?
  12. this is the old PML. I would like to see the new PML with the data when you try to start the services.msc.
  13. run process monitor to see what takes so long to open services.msc. If you're unsure, save the trace as PML, compress it and upload it to your SkyDrive.
  14. try to install the Sp1. You still use the RTM. Maybe this fixes the issue.
  15. Does it make a difference if you disable the WLAN with the switcher at the laptop, boot Windows and after Windows is fully booted, enable the WLAN again? Do you still have delays? The trace still shows that the LanManagerservice is still slow. Have you really disabled the service? to see why services.msc opens so slowly you must run Process Monitor in background: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645 and after services.msc is shown, stop Process Monitor and look at the duration column in "Process Monitor" to see what takes most time.
  16. boot is much better. Windows takes 53s to boot completely. The longest delay (30s) is caused by slow entering of your user password:
  17. ok, so the registry key was defect. Now install the hotfixes and optimize the boot. After you did this make a new trace and upload this last trace.
  18. I can't see why you get an error. You can try to import my SysMain-Service registry entries: SysMain.reg.txt (remove the .txt). Maybe this allows you to run Superfetch again.
  19. hmm, can you make a Process Monitor trace when you try to start the "Superfetch" service? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645 Now save this trace as PML file and upload it.
  20. do you have a file called sysmain.dll in the system32 folder?
  21. run sfc /Scannow to detect missing and broken files. Maybe the sysmain.dll is corrupt.
  22. make sure the values "EnableSuperfetch" and "EnablePrefetcher" in the registry are set to 3.
  23. why have you disabled Superfetch? Your Western Digital Scorpio Blue 250GB HDD only has 5400 RPM. Disabling Superfetch dramatically SLOWS DOWN YOUR WINDOWS AND BOOT! Activate it again, install the hotfixes from here: and run the optimization from here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=140262 After you did this make a new trace.
  24. Asking for ISOs is not allowed here!!!!!
