Silent installs and fully tested setups literally save thousands of dollars and man-hours. I have a dvd that is 3.5 gigs and once the partition is selected it fully installs windows and all of the apps that have been added. (Including office 2007 and paint\photoshop) All of this is done in less than an hour with no babysitting or button pushing needed. The key is proper testing. That is what VMWare or virtualPC is made for. Designing a proper CD\DVD can take time but once you have it down pat you can update and modify it very easily thus saving lots of time and money when you have a LOT of pc's to install and update. Some people actually have 50+ systems to regularly upkeep and reinstall....

The silent switch for Nod32 is /SILENTMODE

You need w2k sp5 I know it is unofficial but it does have support for larger drives outta the box and has all of the fixes (Official and unofficial) up to july\august of last year.

Hirens is considered WAREZ here at MSFN and as such will not be supported. We cannot help you by calling it something else like ligal. Matters as such that this thread pertains to should always be relayed over pm. So if you have any further arguments on the issue then pm me. Any other posts concerning warez and you will be warned, then banned. (Also I very highly doubt Hirens is legal in Egypt now because it includes a modified copy of windows 98 on it. Does that mean all software is free in Egypt?)

OK you made a minor mistake there you don't burn the cd as a bootable cd, the iso image nLite makes is already bootable you need to burn the iso image not add the iso to a cd. I am not sure how you choose burn a image in roxio but here is a tiny app that will give you the power to right click and burn the iso properly. --> http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm <-- Pay attention to the version as there are 2 versions depending on what version of XP you are using. Why not upgrade to SP2 while you are at it?

Soorry my bad here is a sfx file simply point it to a folder and choose install. Then select the .inf (in the folder) during the driver integration part of nLite,

I am looking for updated drivers right now for you. Ok unrar this folder and select the folder for driver integration in nLite. I am fairly sure this is the driver you need if not I have another.

OK then you selected the wrong drivers. Where did you get the sata drivers from?

Coupla questions here> When you selected the drivers for integration did the box popup asking for the "Storage Txtmode Driver" integration options? If yes did you select the XP option?

Even though Hiren's Boot CD contains free software and abandonware, which are still copyrighted, from the DOS era, it should be noted that there are also a significant number of unlicensed proprietary software on Hiren's Boot CD; therefore, Hiren's Boot CD is considered warez. This makes the entire disc illegal in most jurisdictions. Hiren no longer offers a download link to the disc image. Warez support is not allowed or done here plus dont shout in thread titles.

NO you cannot have a link to download it... That would be illegal. As for installing a Vista lite edition on that pc yeah it can be done but I wouldn't wanna do it. Even trimmed down as far as you could it wouldn't run all that well.

Yeah I actually completed an installation on the machine too. But the dang thing would never go past the boot screen.

Sorry but Directx does not work that way. It simply does not install old versions over new ones it never has.
