  1. I have a Radeon 9800 and use WinDVD 7 as the decoder. Also, I use a Hauppauge PVR 150 as the TV Tuner / capture card. Everything works perfectly

  6. My girlfriend has a Acer Aspire 1360 notebook that came pre-loaded with Windows XP home edition. The hard drive was partitioned so that ~2gb was used for the Acer disc to disc recovery system. When windows crashed, i formatted and re-installed, and stupidly, got rid of the extra partition. However, i would like find out how to re-enable this feature. Apparently, it can be used to restore windows, drivers, etc. directly from this partition. I've checked the Acer site, but can find no info about this. Any help with this is appreciated. 7. My system consists of : 3000+ x64 cpu asus M/B 2 x 512mb ram Hauppauge 150 mce Microsoft remote MS Media Center 2005 I have the Multichoice DSTV satellite decoder set top box. i tried to get the MS remote to 'learn' the codes of the DSTV remote to allow the use of 1 remote to control the PC and the set top box. unfortunately, when i press '5' on th MS remote, the decoder [set top box] changes either to 55 or back to the channel that was selected previously. if i press '31' the numbers 3 and the 1 appear on the decoder and then changes to 111 or some other useless number. i tried 're-doing' the learning many times, setting the channel change speed to 'slow' etc. no improvement. Any ideas would be appreciated
  8. I managed to make 1 DVD out of 2 MCE 2005 cd's by editing the "txtsetup.sif" file. I change both cdname and cdtag to be on the safe side. Works perfectly. Thanks guys.
