In my opinion I use p2p allot because: -Like tris says, most of the time it's just about a couple of songs, rest is s***.. -$10-$15 it's getting cheaper, but im still too poor to afford it. -I like to have cd's with only music I like and not carry 5cd's and only having about 20good songs.. -I can't afford a ride to a store. -I can't afford shipping in an online store and the wait for arrival.. -One very big point is that they barely have any trance music up in the stores, when I used to be living in The Netherlands I had plenty of choice but here in Florida, I can get a couple of things like Dj Sammy, Dirty Vegas and have heard some Lasgo on the radio (which are alright, but nog enough) When I would by a cd: -If I could customize it right there in the store and then get it burned for a nice price -If it had some nice music vids on it -If I didn't have a pc to burn or download it (duh) Also, when looking around on school I see 80% burned cd's that ppl be listening to. When I be asking them what they listening to, they say "mix" which is most of the time all off the internet.

Snoop, you should check out DC++ it allows you to connect to as many hubs as you want and when you search, it shows a list of all hubs there in one window! it shows all connected hubs as tabs and if you're interested I can hook you up with a modified version that allows you to cap ur bandwidth. I got Die Another Day dvd screener 2 hrs after it got released (it started downloading) and I tried E-mule for the same s*** and it gave me so much fake releases and old ones that I quit it right after that, I'm not saying E-mule aint good though because I also got plety of s*** off that... but im just saying that with most things you wanna download DC is the way to go, and go with blubster for mp3's.

I agree, I had a Radeon 7000 from Saphire Technology and one from ATi, and the fps was way higher on the ATi one then the 3rd party card. I noticed it allot with GTA3 which I was experimenting with back then. I think it's in the drivers, that the 3rd party companies don't spent much time updating. I believe (not sure) Nvidia cards all use the same driver (detonator) so you won't have to rely on the 3rd party company.

Before buying a new card I would still try another video card first since it could also be your mobo. But im almost 100% sure its the video card....

If it was working before it can't be the bios because that can't just kick in and stop working. I still don't fully understand what's happening, to my knowledge you see the dos part fine but then when windows is loading it goes bam! black screen and ur pc turns off.. correct?

xsivforce makes a good point That's really how it is too, when I was switching to ADSL the ISP explained me the difference with ADSL/Cable it's just like you said, it's divided into sections, so maybe at night the speed will be very fast (coz everyone sleeping do'h) but then in the evening everyone would be online (playing games, downloading etc.). I'm not sure how ADSL works, but I do know that it's not divided into sections like cable, and honestly my internet connection is always the same speed, never slower/never faster. If I had a choice between cable that would be twice as fast as my ADSL connection and the same price I wouldn't go with the cable...

I'm lucky I have ADSL, that never slows down...

Even windows says that it damages your pc, it shows the warning right where you change your refresh rate.

Go into SCSI bios and make the CDROM 1st boot, or connect the CDROM as primary.

lmao, dont listen to gamehead, Do this: When your computer starts hit F8 a bunch of times till the menu comes up, then hit safe modus, and your graphics will be very low since it doesnt load your gfx drivers.. Then go and change resolution when u done with that, reboot! Hope this helps No unnessary flaming mate(Mod)

This might change your mind on the screeners you download... Watched it on big screen tv via laptop, was very disapointed in the movie, but the quality of the video and sound was just like a dvd! Watch the size of your images mate.... it messes with the thread bondarys as well as increasing the page load time Thankx Mod
