they made a hack so you can backup your database...had it installed and didnt upgrade so successufly..didnt try do backup either...o well...will try to find again

justa let you know IBF went RC2...im not sure if you can just upgrade or if you have to back up the database and do a full install then restore...

what did you guys use to remake the IBF banner?

i know there is an app somewhere that u can use to mount a cd file (iso or whatever) so that the comp thinks its really a cd...anyone know what this is called, where i can get it, and what format it has to be in to mount? (if it took me this long to get to level two i should get off my lazy a** and post)

well the permissions thing was simple..and now that i think about it getting the server back up was too...after i dumped apache and booted IIS back up i was getting an error about cgi scripts being accessed directly or somthing...then i realized at the bottom it said apache..so i closed everything in the CTRL+ALT+DEL menu and deleted everything the apache uninstall left behind and rebooted again...i think it left stuff behind bc i uninstalled w/o shutting it down..but all is well again http://www.lnxpngwn.tk (anyone know when .tk started with the ads?)

ok ive got dual boot 98 (C:) and XP Pro (E:) and i need to format the xp drive and reload...i know that xp puts the boot.ini on its drive..so can i just format and reload and still have my dual boot screen..or do i need to do anything special?

ok..im stumped..im trying to setup invision board on my server (XP IIS) and it cant write to conf_global.php and i cant figure out how to change the access permissions for it...anyone got an idea?
