what it was originally was the ILS directories that you would log onto with netmeeting....but M$ decided to not support them anymore and lean towards msn messanger and netmeeting together..... so now im looking for some kind of videoconferencing server that (cross my fingers) can be logged onto with netmeeting.....if not then somthing with a small client program (for a quick download)

ok...i looked around...i even took the time to look at the M$ website...no luck....what i'm looking for is how to set up a NetMeeting server.....anyone got an idea?..cause i have no clue... ****just found what i was looking for...but M$ doesnt support it anymore...does anyone have a suggestion for running a video conferencing server

thanks for all the help guys....it was a divx movie...i used avi2vcd and decompressed the audio and right now im converting the video

and xperties thats not entirely true...my comp took a power hit and the only thing that stopped working was the write function on the CD-Burner....still read disks fine but wouldnt burn em anymore.....

Does anyone know of a video conversion proggie....free or demo or somting....to convert avi to mpeg2.....i need to convert so i can burn SVCD's but i cant with nero unless i buy the plugin....

anyone know where i can get the XP icons so i can use them in 98...im tryin to make it look as XP like as possible without using WindowBlinds or another skinning program....

its in .swf format....but i cant see the tags you used...it just showed up as a blank image...

just a question...ive been messing around with Swish...and i created a sig....how do i put my flash animation into my sig?...do i just use the IMG command?

yeah...i think i need an upgrade...the only way to tell what the temp is on this thing is to stick a thermometer in there....and i wont buy anything that i dont build (no nasty suprises that way)

you can set up both partitions and just let XP setup format the first 1 for you...or just load XP on the first partition and run the convert program if you want it NTFS....

im going to d/l flashget when im done downloading RedHat....right now DAP uses 7 connections...

im d/ling redhat 7.2 and i was using FlashFXP and getting like 10 kb/sec....then i installed DAP (in spit of speedbits litlle spyware) and im pulling like 40 kb/sec now....anyone recommend a D/L accelerator?

when i do that my cpu stays where it was before...just fluxin a tiny bit from what ive got running... NT 4.0 Server 233mhz Pentium MMX 80mb ram Optical Wheel Mouse

when i used grokster or limewire (dont remember which) i got sumthin like that too....it was just a little gray thing in the top left....xcept i couldnt move it...but when i closed teh program it went away...

im plannin on buyin a cheap ok computer from some big electronics show soon...just to test stuff like this so if somthin goes wrong i dont lose everything...ill try settin that up clean as the primary when i get that comp...ill post my results...

i tried installin it dual boot with NT 4.0 and it does the setup loading screen and then it says shutdown complete and tells me to restart....

if anyone could upload it to me (NT 4.0 FTP) please pm me and ill give you the nfo....if not could someone point me to a server that i could get it from...

we had dsl for a while..but the lines in our area suck...therefore the dsl sucked....all they do is install sumthin on ur line at the central office or at the junction...not sure which...then you install dsl modem and put the dsl filters on the rest of ur jacks....this is just what happened with Verizon DSL....

that sucks...time to move!...nothing is good on tv unless you have hbo or skinimax...then it still kinda sucks
