so when making a flat, if i have the batch copy the files to c:\i386 instead of c:\source\i386 i should make the registry file say: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup] "SourcePath"="%systemroot%\\" "ServicePackSourcePath"="%systemroot%\\" and that should work?

It's still an internal alpha build that would have been leaked, there is always the possibility that it is real. I guess we wont know till we see it... Like aaron said

No, I double checked that everything was gone from 4.x...all thats in there now is 3.x and still no luck

I read through the posts in the hosting section but I can't find the answer to my problem. Whenever I try to connect to a database I get the following error: Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES) in c:\program files\apache group\apache\htdocs\installtestdbconnect.php on line 47 Failed to establish a database connection. Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES) Using apache 1.3.27 php 4.3.2 and sql 3.something... I tried it with 4.0 but there was a post about someone having problems with it and to stick to the older version so I rolled back to that version and it still doesnt work... any ideas? T.I.A.

1.1 of the portal is way old...i think thats what he meant and if you use Portal v3.2 and IBF 1.1 just make sure you put skin_portal.php in /skin/s#/ when using diff skins..that should work

i also heard about ie6 being the last version of internet explorer..i cant remember where it was tho..but im not about to switch to msn explorer..mozilla maybe
