I would suggest you to use Free Fownload Manager. It's free, it's great (maybe the best), doesn't include any s*** and it could be installed silently very easy either by switch or AutoIt script. Here is an example, the script should be slightly modified to match the newest version (2.1.494). http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...amp;hl=download Use quality software Do not support companies that bundle s*** in their products.

Two users - two different opinions until now The next one could be definitive
-
LOL, I was expecting another answer
-
OK... this was stupid. My firewall was blocking it. Now when I disable it, it works like a charm
-
Firefox: Internet Explorer: See? I don't need these addons (WinXp 32bit here), just wanted to try the file hosting.
-
I don't remove Windows Media Player 9, should I set this to disable and save 1MB?
-
@ Weed - Are all these applications a native 64bit software? Too bad I can't download them, both in FF and IE. Don't know what's the problem. the ImgBurn website is wrong btw
-
I don't have such a problems. The network is running just fine. Didn't applied any network tweaks in nLite though.
-
nuhi for president! Seriously nLite is the greatest thing since sliced bread Thank You, nuhi! keep up the good job
-
Thanks, hulkviper I have already downloaded that directx addon and I will use it in my future installs. Nevertheless this could be a great feature for a future version of nLite
-
nuhi, is it possible to have a direct integration for directx_aug2006_redist.exe in some future release of nLite? http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...E7-CC576822AED4 Like the direct integration of the Service Packs?
-
Sure these are some nice features, but the best one is: remove more components
-
My ISO is ~ 180MB, installed ~ 400MB B) I remove all drivers. I remove some components in red. Still everything is working just fine
-
You should know what exactly every component is used for, so you can decide if you need it or not. Some of the components in red are not that critical and you can actually remove them without any problem. Don't expect to do it right from the first time. You need nLite experience to obtain the best results. Nobody can tell you what exactly to remove and what to keep. After being installed my WinXP [fully updated (no ryanvm pack though) and no addons integrated] is ~ 400MB too (pagefile excluded). Network, internet, printers, filesharing... everything is working great

Are there any registry settings that will speed up the switching of the languages in the language bar? It's not that slow, but I want it without any delay Thanks in advance

[REQ] Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0.0.303
rado354 replied to rado354's topic in Application Add-Ons
Yeah, I have already downloaded it. Will give it a try these days and will see if I can get a nice addon with a custom installation components and auto registration. P.S.: Do you have an idea why I can't run any AutoIt scripts in WMWare environment? This sucks! -
About Everest, here is another alternative: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...&hl=everest You can even edit it

rado354 replied to rado354's topic in Application Add-Ons
You can see my mini HowTo AutoIt here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&...st&p=527201 1. Install the program and the script editor. 2. Check one of my scripts to see the syntax and you are ready to experiment yourself. As nLite support *.rar now, you don't need CabPack anymore. -
You see how Service Packs are being integrated? You don't need a 266MB addon to integrate SP2, don't you? Now maybe this could be done with directx as well. That's what I'm looking for
-
Thanks, Sereby! It's not exactly what I was looking for, but almost there Does it work with the english version of WinXP?
