  1. What do I have to do to get the Windows XP Recovery Console back working if I use nLite to create Windows XP Professional installation CDs? I see all the option to format, erase/create partitions, but there's no Recovery Console option.
  2. Lol, I copy&pasted it from a Google search result and didn't do a spell check! The computer is from a friend of mine so I will have to check if there's a new BIOS out there that allows this. I also did already a board search, but I couldn't find an aswer to my problem.
  3. I would like to install Window XP Pro SP2 in an external USB hard disk, but as soon as I choose it as destination the installation stops with this message: Can you please tell me a way to install it anway?
  4. It didn't work for me. I had to do a System Restore 'cause the logon screen got replaced by a little Username & Password window. My problem now is different as I cannot find the English part that I want to replace with the Italian one. Wasn't the file called LOGONUI.EXE? Well, there's no evidence of English sentences there...
  5. I'm confused, I thought the XPize icons in my old system were looking different from the default ones. Sorry, my fault.
  6. There are two options (although worked with my SB Live!...). A. Download and install the XP64 Audigy2 ZS Beta drivers. B. If method 'a' didn't work unpack (i.e. use WinRAR) the installer and then run the SETUP.EXE file located into the subdir "drivers". Method B worked for me. For the folks: XP64/Vista Live! drivers are expected to come out this thursday.
  7. I downloaded again the patcher, applied it and it still looks as before. Give a look at the screenshot below (look only at the icons as I restored back the VS and the Desktop background).
  8. No man, I did it the right way -> First SP2 then XPize.
  9. Hi. I used XPize in the past with success, so after installing Windows XP SP2 Pro Italian into my brand new computer I cannot see any change at all with the icons. Did an icons cache rebuild first with MS TweakUI and then with Bee Icons without success. Missing something?
  10. already tried that <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You have to get the XP 64/2003 drivers (search with Google). Extract everything to a folder and put in a floppy in the main root DRIVER FILES ONLY, depending you've an Intel or an AMD processor. Worked for me. Going to catch other drivers.
  11. No, mate. As I wrote in my first post, there's no link for Schalti's scripts. So far I got only Pyron's SetupCopyOEMInf.exe.
  12. OK, but it is not clear to me what script files do I have to create/edit?
  13. Me? None mate. I'm trying to create something myself.
  14. Note: I don't want to use ready stuff like Drive Packs. I'm very confused with this new experience. What I want to do is to include my 3Com 3C940 into my slipstreamed copy of Windows XP Professional SP2. I already succefully included my Via VT8237 Serial ATA drivers, but I'm not sure how to include my LAN driver. Could someone plz resume the BEST script/method to use? Note that my SATA driver is located in: /$OEM$/$1/drivers/SATA/VT8237 therefore I would like to place my LAN driver in: /$OEM$/$1/drivers/LAN/3C940 Thanks.
  15. Sorry, I cannot find your scripts in this thread.
