Hello fellows i got a WD WDH1CS10000E External drive and it gives me 0 or 1 mb on my drive, cant really remember now.. I think there has been a virus on and and destroyed the partition and now it cannot be deleted with diskpart og windows gui format. Any help would be nice

Just remember to download the newest ie7 install file from ms site, it contains newer files than the old file there was there before Do it like boooogeyyman does it, exepct the newest version DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime AddOn - 0.3.4 (March 2008) does break wmp11 and ie7 install first time you login after fresh install... Ohh well i think its only me, i really dnu because i have tested alot of fresh installs with the same result everytime . Im abit drunk so dont be p***ed at me if i dont make any sense to any on this forum today haha.

Why bother with release candidates, when within a month there will be a new packaged out. i dont get it. Ryans pack is like a sp3 with all the newest updates in it. It will replace the old installation files on the source you use and only is 50mb!. The same goes for wmp and ie-7 true direct addon that replaces the old files on the source.. Like that you will get all newest updates for xp on the source with ie7, just remember to have sp2 slipstreamed first before your add em. Im out. Take it or leave it i dont care.

Tryed with original source and are you sure that you really deleted the old nlite try with a hold new settings dont load your old one .

Thats nice kel, but could you.... or could i fix the minimize sleep window?, is there an command you can put after so that the sleep.exe stays minimized? when runned with wpi.

Iv just confirmed that they work on xp sp2, twice i reformatted to test and it works very nicely thanks ricktendo, and btw kel my 101 error is gone when i use the inf instead, im happy now

Should the inf version work with xp or only vista?

Well i dont know either, but isnt it strange that the error only pops up the first time at first login only? it stars normal afterwards.

I do not have last session from my nlite, but i have a saved session from nlite i use everytime i remove stuff from xp. last session/saved remove work VIEW/DOWNLOAD. I keep IE 7.0 i dont use nero, but might have removed a service its dependant on? its weird i only get this error first time after installed winxp sp2 i start up, afterwards i can start it up without any sign of warnings.

i also do get the error code 101 now something about not contacting the remote server or something, ill format within 30mins and paste a screenshot if can use print screen. *SOLVED* I found out that there was missing some of these regs for running wsus,ms update correctly..... I found Windwsupdate.log if that could be any help, it says something about srclient.dll, but dont know anything about this, i beg for help

I agree kel i just thougt that it would be easyst for everyone if the pictures was there, but never thougt about there still are users on dialup sry about that. What i ment was that i have deleted those backup settings because the new nlite 1.4.0.5 was there and i ran it from desktop so i dont have any last session..... Are there by any chance that you can see from your eye(catch) that something like a service/component is missing for installing updates via ie?..

Haliii halo guys, iv made a new xp pro sp2 cd, but i think i might have removed something so i cannot install updates from microsoft update site, i have not problem getting into the site, valiate and download...... Heres a picture.... I dont have any logs i did delete em.... I know its a alot to ask for but if anyone could see whats missing for running those updates on my second picture here, ill be very greatfull... Thanks, will be nice if anybody else had made this mistake and found out wich you should never remove if you care about updates
