  1. You could always do it the hard way for kicks An there isnt a program out there that can fully customise it to your liking, like you can.
  2. Since i dont have a website to upload it to, the only way you can get it, is if you e-mail me. fellatio at cyberone dot com dot au
  3. Okay! Version 0.01 is done Functionality: Just creates the .sif file with your options. Upcomming: The endless persiuit to make it id*** proof Regfile maker Fixing bugs/mistakes/typo's Make it look all shnazzy, pretty, funky, and optically orgasmic.
  4. Thanks! I appreciate the help. Do you have an FTP or something available? (just so i can update program/website without having to send you the new version every time )
  5. I cant make a line to remove the wallpapers and screensavers. That is done in the batch files. I can however make an option so it disables the use of background pictures, but that is quite different. As for your second question, i should be done with the first version (which will be as buggy as the "Antz" animated movie, in a few hours. I do not however, have any webspace to publish my work as such. Perhaps someone would like to host it for me when its done ?
  6. Let me get it working first
  7. Thats a good idea with the Reg Maker I think ill incorperate that into the program when im done with the winnt.sif
  8. Care to explain a little further what exactly you mean ?
  9. That could be done, but you'd have to type in the path locations and switches manually. So you may as well write them yourself
  10. Greetings. Im currently in the process of putting togeather a little program that creates the winnt.sif file automatically, with a nice GUI, and without any icky file editing. This handy little gadget will do it all for ya! Please note that this program is still being developed. All ive created so far is the user interface. I havent done any of the hard coding yet It'll take me a few days to get it running smoothly, so expect it soon! Any suggestions would also be greatly appreciated. I'm making it for you people, so who better to know what you want, than you
  11. If you make the program easy enough for people to edit, and add their own applications, i forsee it being posted on the tutorial website
  12. Using download ratios in a FTP server program, you can set it so users can only download so much, before they are required to upload something. You can also set how much they must upload to how much they can download (hence the ratio) For example, if your download ratio was set to 2:1 for every 2MB they uploaded, they could download 1MB Im sure if you fiddle with some options, you can get what your looking for.
  13. Judging from all the posts in this topic, i think so too
  14. Australia must be located under an invisible geographical rock, because i have no idea who you guys are talking about
  15. How about i write a program to create a winnt.sif file, to aid the cause ?
  16. hrm .. i seemed to have overlooked that thread
  17. ROFL Give him a break! He's not a total pig. He ordered a small coke
  18. I was actually thinking about doing the same thing. Creating a DVD with a whole bunch of stuff on it. Id need a program selecter thing, cause who really wants to install 5 gig of programs? If i was going to do this for myself, i woudlnt start it for a while. But, as i've said, if enough of the MSFN community backs it, ill get to work on it.
  19. Good to have you back
  20. There is absolutly no purpose to this thread. Ill most probably forget about it after posting, but that just goes to show you the extent of my boredom. (hence the handle) But anyways, post your pets, and gimme a geeze! Here's my puppy! Name: Sable Sex: Girl Breed: Syberian Huskey Age of Photo: 2 months Current Age: 6 months Most Cute habbit: Mooing like a cow when she growls. Most Disgusting habbit: Urinating on her leash.
  21. You could do it the long way around and create a dos menu that will appear something like: Press the matching number to install a program 1. Norton Anti Virus 2. MSN Messenger 3. WinISO 4. DivX 5.2 etc. I could explain how to do that if you wish. But the problem is, you'll need a serpate batch file for every program (Unless you wanted to install them in groups or something) Failing that there isnt much else. I could create a program using VB to do something like your asking if there is enough support behind it, so i know im not waisting my time
  22. If you dont know much about XML, than it probably is easier to edit a batch file and do it that way. This little program just provides a nice user interface instead of a deadly looking command window. it uses XML to do that. There's really nothing (so far) that this program can do, that you can do in a batch file. @Webmedic Let me load up an XPInstall on VirtualPC, and ill fiddle around with it, and post a few screenshots.
  23. try to start setup with /s ? and see if it gives you any extended help.
  24. From my understanding, no it wont. But thats okay. Just run a batch to install .net, then run the program to install everything else.
  25. Thats pretty funky
