  1. If You want to run a vbs from batch plus clean up the files This makes it only 1 file Green is what you add to the script Blue is the script varible
  2. Or In Vbs Also This Will Work If Winamp Is Installed And Is The Defualt MP3 Player Since This Is Vbs And There Is No Stops It Will Start The Next Line like it was running 2 at once.

Tell Me how it better Can you choice the icon Can you select any thing on your local hard drive Does it have the a hot key attach to it. oShellLink.Hotkey = "Ctrl+Alt+e" Plus It leave it on the desktop, and with minor modification you could leave it on the start menu. I tried it and could not find any short cuts or get it to work on my desktop.
  4. I dont know if this will help here is a script that makes shortcuts . It Works Like This 1\ You input a name 2\ You Type In a number for a icon from shell32.dll 3\ A Dialog opens up amd you use that to select the app you want a short cut to. 4\ It leaves the shortcut on desktop.   8. In Windows Apply the update reboot. Then copy from Windows\system32\shell32.dll to any location, mod it then it will be ready for your ua. Example I have my shell32.dll already now for when i redo my Ua CD. shell32.dll Version info PRODUCTVERSION 6,0,2900,2620
  9. I would Not Trust a Script to replace 200 icons or do menu modification or string replacements. You Can Use Script For Resource Hacker. I have attempted this before and found it to be not to good. Missing Icon Messed Up menus and no string replacement.

  11. Here Is A Quick Tut On How To Replace Icons For Windows Files Things Needed 1:\ Resource Hacker I Have Included It In This Link, This Also Has Shell32.dll, Explorer.exe ,Uxtheme.dll. I Use These In My Ua Cd So They Work. The Shell32.dll Is The Lastest Version. MyModFiles Here A Link With Other Modification You can Do With Resource Hacker Other Modifications

  14. I am not sure of this but have you got IE6 installed as those updates appear for IE6 and not the defualt IE Install with w2k.
  15. This Is How The Entry Look In A Winnt.sif You Have To Make Sure The Theme In This Directory After The Install.%systemdrive%\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes I use a self extracting winrar file that runs from the CmdLines.txt That places the theme files there. Code For The Winrar
