    Yor presets. =D

Hi! I've heard for a long time that some nlite users like me have awsome nlited versions of windows that go down to 100/200mb on the windows folder and a very low mem usage. I would love to try one of those versions, so if you ppl could share with me and others your nLite presets would be awsome. Remenber to REMOVE YOUR CD-KEY FROM THE PRESET. Thks. =D

    can't repair xp

aquari: Thks dude, I hope i can help in future nlite issues. Mad_Evil: Well...I wasnt asking for attention since I know how to use this method to keep the repair options....I guess who will need attention will be future nLiters who may need this for working enviroment, and has such Im thinking of them (general nLite comunity), not in me....I honestly hope that you understand that..otherwise you are the one who needs attention.

    can't repair xp

Unbeliveable....This questions appears lots of times and WILL continue to appear from new nLite users and no mod gives even an opinion about this sugestion!!! S***!! Hell, I will not even try to help new users about this, because nobody cares about it, and surely I will not waste my time again trying to help someone about this issue!! Page 2 of nLite forum and its like never happened!! Bahh!!!

    can't repair xp

Oh ppl..once I explained here how to keep the repair mode but it has his problems... So here Im going to explain again how to keep Repair mode untouched, and still have a unnattended Win. 1º --> Make your nLited CD NORMALY has you usually do...apply hotfixes, remove stuff, tweaks..bla bla... 2º --> AFTER nLite processes everything and you reach the option to create an ISO, STOP HERE!!! 3º --> Explore the CD and look for WINNT.SIF and edit it: 4º --> See an [uNANTENDED] section? DELETE it completely It will look like this: [Data] MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = Yes [systemFileProtection] SFCQuota = 0 [GuiUnattended] AutoLogon = Yes TimeZone = 85 OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1 [userData] ProductKey = "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" [RegionalSettings] Language = 0816 [identification] JoinWorkgroup = WORKGROUP 5º --> Save the changes, create the ISO and its done.. Now heres a problem that almost nobody likes....You will lose all unantended options in TEXT MODE (ONLY)!! So when you boot your WinXP CD, all the options will appear, all the Repair Options, disk formating etc... Yeah you will have to press F8 to Agree with the License Agreement etc but still....You have just won the Repair mode and Repair Console....oh and no need to input serial and stuff... I hope this helps, and I know that most unantended fanboys will start flamming, but I dont really care about that..And also this question will appear always till somebody makes this suggestion a sticky or something... B) Good Luck dude.
  17. Maybe you vould put the cab avaiable for download or send it to me...
  18. I'm amazed that there isnt already an Add-On for this exelent antivir.... An ideia...maybe together with the (maybe) Avast AddOn, the creator could put the link for the free registration... Thks.
  19. I tryed to build my Multiboot DVD with WinXP SP2, Win2000SP4, Win03 Enterprise, Win98 and WinME but with no luck... I followed all the sections but I've noticed that this guide still uses WinXP SP1..so there are some more new files to mess around with and Im a real neeeewwwwbiieee so I must follow line by line.. Well...when I trie to "Capture ISO image" with MS Virtual PC 04 it says that my ISO created with CD IMAGE its not a valid ISO...so i tried to burn it to a DVD and it says "Could not found NTLDR"... Creating a Boot Menu should be more simple....i cant build one myself..it messes with some basic programming but still I cant do it. Can flyakite simplify (even more ) the process of making a Boot Menu? It would be really handy to have my own multiboot dvd.. Thks.
  20. Weee...Yes it works fine! I just replaced the wpa.dll, and ran the activation process.... It just checks if theres an active connection, but it doesnt access the web. Its really quick to say "Thank You. Your activation was succefull" Thks dude's
  21. My friend needs this OS for his bar, so EVRYTHING needs to be properly licensed. Its a public computer, for simple net access, Office work bla bla... Thks for the suggestions
  22. omg....So i have to call to MS to reactivate my WinXp? Humm....do they accept that? This activation stuff should be a little more "flexible" to proven genuine users... I hope it improves with Longhorn. So, ppl do u know any more solutions? I really need some help here.....well i have 29 days to register, so i will be waiting...LOL!!
  23. Hi! I know a guy that has Windows XP Home SP2 (Genuine), and he asked me if there were any problems in formating his HDD, reinstalling WindowsXP and replacing the WPA.dll in system32 folder, so he could keep his OS registered. B) I used RockXP to save the wpa.dll, formated his hdd, and replaced the wpa.dll succesfully but....the activation reminder keeps apearing...why? Do I need to speak with Microsoft again and explain my problem? Is it legal to nlite it and replace the wpa.dll nomally? Thks, and sorry if his the wrong forum.. ^_^
