i had the same problem some time ago, the only way i fixed it was to use another hacked uxtheme.dll, might try that.........

i have a program the will do them one @ a time, search for aveicon.zip, its simple to use.............

i just used resource hacker to replace the icons i wanted & then used the makecab to resize to put on my unattended cd, just took over a month resize all the icons i wanted to resize & i have about another months to do, so i can make another one............ i did use icon package to get the icon libraries from the alienware themes, all three of them, i have some other icon libraries i would like to use as well............. i have also tried xprize, it is a great idea, not sure if i want to go that far, cause i also have modded mspaint, cmdprompt, & mspaint w/ some sweet icons i found...........

i grabbed a couple of them, one for me & other for my parents........

this is about to sound stupid but you could have just installed one of the many aol discs floating around out there, that would have updated it......also some of the old msn dics had so u could just copy the IE folder straight off the cd and install it, if u have one of those avaiable........

do u have a firewall installed, which type??? have u tried removing it & reinstalling it?

they are, it is just a time consuming project to say the least, i thought about putting this on a website but i am going to wait until that guide is done to see how much is included, cause not all the software can be included, just way to much to add & maintain, after only 5 months i had to go back & recheck all the links & that took days upon days to do......but until then we can only do what we can............might check w/ Alanoll to see how far they are into working on it though, they might need some help w/ it maybe........

i downloaded the verison shortly be4 it was closed just to see if it was any good, it didn't contain any serial key, but anyway, i do however like alanolls version best............

go to the link i posted, look for the authorware web player, download it & use the /S on it.........

where did u get the msi???

i use the /S, it seems to work fine for me.............

i did install the flash using the /S on mozilla the other day and it worked w/out any problems......

sounds like u could use regshot to help out w/ the registry entries, run it first, make the changes, and then compare the changes & u could for the other try the following: taskkill /F /IM iexplorer.exe or pskill -t iexplorer.exe

have u tried it with the /s, it shouldn't be case sensitive..........

u can use the /QN or /QB with it.........

did u get this one: "DivX Play Bundle with free 15-day trial of the DivX Converter" or this one "DivX Play Bundle only" i assume its the 2nd.........

i have some tweaks (reg entries) that will allow u to add anything to the control panel just be changing a couple #s, i post a sample when i get home........
