    yes I understand that. My problem is that I can't download on her laptop. When I try to download IE on my desktop it tells me that I have a newer version of IE and it will not let me download.

    My daughter has an older laptop that she use for small applications. She wanted to get on the internet. I bought a wireless card to use on laptop. Her laptop runs windows SE. I saw that windows SE has Explorer 5.0. I have DSL at home running Windows Xp Pro. My problem is that when I try to install her wireless card it's asking for IE 5.5 or higher. I don't have dial up any more so I can't connect her modem to upgrade. Tried to download Explorer and it keeps telling me that I have newer version allready installed. Can I download explorer to Zp drive or something to install on laptop?
